What's everyone up to?

I've got a street christmas party on tonight, and then a family christmas party tomorrow...It's all a little busy at the moment.

I had an awesome day today! I got the most epic penguin card from Tasha in the mail! XD and then I went to my favorite coffee shop because my friend brought enchiladas! Which were awesome!

lol A few days ago Santa came by our house with one of those firetrucks and threw candy at me and my sister. She was late for dance because she was waiting for Santa.

Who all is done wrapping their Christmas presents? I know I am.

I'm no ways near being done. My mom will be here sometime today and I have to wrap hers tonight once the kids are in bed asleep. This is going to be one busy week. I just spent 3 hrs cleaning and I'm not even done. The stupid mop broke so I have to wait until my hubby gets home to go get a new one. I guess I'll finish the cleaning tomorrow.

It was a fun night last night. Most of the adults were drunk...My parents sort of held back (mum didn't want to go overboard since we have our other party tonight) But we did a lot of laughing etc. And were home by 9:30! Which is awesome. Just in time for sleep

Its been a busy but fun week for me.
Had a birthday party and a christmas party for work.
Did some almost last minute shopping.
Hung out with friends that dont go to my uni that I don't see often.
Started re reading VA #1 as well.

I'm going to be super busy the next couple of days. So I may not be able to get on until after Christmas. So in case I'm not, I'm going to go ahead and Wish you all A Merry Christmas! Hope you have a wonderful day with those you love!

Ugh, I've been trying all day to get on Shadow Bite. First the home page just looked all screwy...messed up. Then I accidentally logged out and couldn't log in again because of the screwy, messed up home page. But it's finally back to normal again. Never clicking the log out tab again either

Hey everyone. Just wanted to drop in and check up on everyone. I hope everyone is well and enjoying the holidays. Hope u all have great plans.

Im still super sick. Went to the doc Monday and got medicine and stuff. I have bronchitis. I've had it several times before but this one is particularly bad. I have one day left on the meds and i still feel like crap. I've just been drinking lots of tea. And staying under the covers. Sleeping on and off all day. My whole house is sick. It sounds like my dad got bronchitis too, he is going to the doctors tonight. My brother is taking him when he gets home from work.

But i'm trying to remain positive. At least some good has come from this. I've been watching all the Christmas movies on tv. And i think i fast tracked myself into quitting smoking. Honestly, can't smoke when you have bronchitis and so I've been smoke free this week. Also, i hope i lost a few pounds. Yesterday was the first time i ate since Friday.

I came across Last sacrifice in a bookstore, and I was so excited! It wasn't supposed to be here yet! But I bought it! Yaaaay!!!
It has a different cover. it's red, with a big heart, like it's made with ribbons. It doesn't look like VA, but it definitely looks christmas-y...
It's great either way...

So, how're you doing? It's my name's day tomorrow, so I'll have all relatives over here... Pretty boring if you don't take into account all the gifts I'll be taking... xD

My Christmas was alright. It sucked to be so sick and coughing as much as I was. I can't even laugh without going into a coughing fit. But, It was nice to have family over. My sister actually came over, and stayed for more than 10 minutes. She stayed pretty much the whole day. It was nice seeing the kids playing with their Christmas toys. Only a little painful watching alllll the perfectly wrapped gifts and all my hard work being ripped to shreds. lol. My cousin brought his new puppy over, and i fell in love with the dog. My mom who hates pets, fed the dog and then the dog would NOT leave her side. She acted mad, but i could tell she really enjoyed that.

Everyone was really happy with the gifts i gave them so i was super happy for that. I got some pretty neat stuff too. My sister got me some clothes, and my hubby got me my exercise machine. And my brother got me the kindle!

I didn't think i would like the kindle. But it's pretty neat. I was so die-hard about how i dont like reading books electronically. But the kindle doesn't even look like a computer screen or smart phone screen or ipad screen. Its much softer and kind of reminds me of a etch and sketch. LOL. The words just appear and disappear. In a nice dark contrast which is easy on the eyes. The only problem i'm having is getting the font the right size. Its adjustable but i cant find the right comfortable medium for reading.

Also, the hubby, after some twinkling on the internet got some free ebooks. Which made me happy. I dont like downloading/stealing books. But i also wont pay for a kindle version of a book i already have/own. He actually got a free collection of kindle books- there was like 80 books in the collection. So i got some of my series like Blue Bloods and Percy Jackson and even some series i haven't read but been wanting to like Anita Blake. The collection has some goodies like Harry Potter. They also have novels and standalone books so i have a couple strays on my kindle. But, it's pretty neat. He's going to search the free ebooks for me and try to get all my series and stuff. I'm way behind on reading too. I've been buying all the latest books and stuff but haven't gotten around to reading them. I just started re-reading the first blue bloods book, cause i bought misguided angel a few weeks ago. And the immortals series, i bought the series a book here and a book there over the past few months and when the new on came out i bought it. I haven't even started to read the first one yet. Lol. So i got TONS of books to read.
