What's everyone up to?

Literally just after I posted about the humidity it went all dull and cold and I had to put a jumper on. I think it's going to rain again *sigh*

The weather here has been changing. On September 22nd it was still like summer all hot and everything but there was this wind. My sister made a comment that fall was here and the very next day on the 23rd (first day of autumn here) it was all chilly. lol Tbh though I'm not really looking forward to cooler weather. I hate being cold.

It was kinda like that here. One day it was hot as hell then the next day its cool in the morning and evening but still super hot during the day. Now it's not quite as hot in the afternoon but the mornings/nights are perfect. All within this week. I love cooler weather. Not freezing cold but high 60's F low 70's F is perfect to me.

for the first time in a looooong time I am not looking forward to the weekend. My hubby has to go out of town to work. He'll leave early saturday morning and come home sunday night. I hate being home alone. I hate sleeping in my bed alone even more. I get so paranoid. Every little sound and movement freaks me out.

What's everyone plans for the weekend?

Watching commonwealth games highlights. Sadly I've been so busy the last couple of days and missed most of the swimming which is my favourite part.

I get bored of the swimming after a while.

I'm loving the weather we're having. Fall( autumn ) doesn't last long around here, but its my favorite weather. We've been having nice weather this week, breezy and cool- long sleeve weather maybe a sweater at night. It's perfect. I'm going out today. It's my friend's birthday and we're going to this place called dave and busters. It's a restaurant/bar/ arcade. For a package like 20 bucks you get dinner and game card which you can play like 5 games with. Which isn't too bad. It's in times square ( Manhattan) so if we get bored we can walk around like tourists. lol. I'm excited! I haven't gone out in a while to hang out in awhile.

I've never been to dave and buster's but I've wanted to go for a while now just never got around to it. Hope you have a fun time!

One of my best friend's might be coming to stay the night tomorrow being that my hubby will be out of town. I haven't had a friend stay over in like 5 yrs. It'll be fun to have some girl time and act like teenagers again lol

Going to the movies tonight. Don't remember the name though... ^.^
I managed to wear my lenses, and I think I can put up with my classmates... ^.^

This morning I'm doing uni work for a bit and then in the afternoon I'm studying for a class test tomorrow. Last week of uni this week.

I've got 2 weeks left of uni then exams.
Usually around this time I'm prepping for exams but this time around I've stilll got big assignments.
Not doing much today though. going to catch up on some missed tv and plan things out for the rest of the month.

I've been kind of sad and blue. I haven't been doing much but spending time with my dad going on his endless amount of errands. I'm scared cause Thursday he is going into the hospital. His heart doctor thinks he has a blockage and so Thursday we are going in so they can run tests, and if they find a blockage they can remove it. He is scared and nervous but mostly annoyed because he said his heart feels fine and he feels better and he doesn't want to be locked up in a hospital again. I can't blame him. i don't want him to have to step foot in a hospital. But, i much rather him be healthy. I 'm just a little blue all these life threatening illnesses keep happening to my dad.

@Peace love n VA: I'm sorry that you dad's sick and I'm wishing you guys all the best. Let's hope it's not something dangerous!

Well since I'm in China right now I can only talk about the weather here ... it's hot, sunny and high humidity. Awefull. In Germany (where I come from) it's freezing already. *lol* Poor guys over there!

Ani: I wish I had your hot and sunny weather. It's wet here again, not cold though so I guess that's a positive.

I live in Australia, so we've just gone through winter...I'm ready for hot weather. Summer, swimming, holidays

Tasha, I hope everything goes well with your dad and that it's not anything serious. I've went through it with my mom when I was 15. She had Open Heart Surgery. So I know what you are going through. Sending lots of get well wishes and good vibes to your dad! HUGS.

My grandfather had a by pass surgery not too long ago and he's 91... now running around like a 40 year old. So i'm not too worried. It's just frustrating because he was just starting to get better and be more active. Now he's going to have to start the recoup time all over again. We just hope he doesn't need fixing and is sent home the same day. We'll see. Hopefully some of the luck of the Irish will kick in for my dad. Lol.

Funniest thing I've read all day -> it had to do with an article about a McDonald's Happy Meal that hadn't decomposed after six years and I found this in the comments:

If a Happy Meal never ages, then I will eat Happy Meals and I will never age.

Lol, i saw that article too. I didn't look at the comments but that's pretty funny. I was laughing because my friend shared the article with me and she is vegan so she was like hahahaha meat is bad and all that stuff.

I'm madly trying to come up with a few questions to go with an article for my tutorial presentation tomorrow. I've got 4 so far, but my presentation has to last an hour, and while there are a few students in the class (and the tutor too) who can talk about crap for quite a while and use up lots of my time...I have to look as though I've prepared for a whole heap of class discussion. It's sort of stressing me out and at the same time not stressing me because the HSC (final high school exams) has just started here...and I'm helping my mum supervise them at a local school...so I have to do my presentation and then rush off to the school so I'm sort of not thinking about uni work too much.

I was supervising an exam today and we have to walk the kids to the toilet if they need to go (because if you don't go with them people might think they're cheating) ... anyway, I was with this one boy and he turns to me on the way to the mens room and goes "You were here last year, weren't you?" And I nodded and he replied "I thought I remembered you! I was one of the writers" (some people needed others to write their exams for them...it's a strange system) ... I'm not sure I remember who he was, but it was nice to be remembered by someone else

I don't care that McDonald's food is so unnatural that even bacteria wouldn't eat it. As long as I've got some sweet & sour sauce to go with my nuggets, I'm good. lol

Gonna go shopping tomorrow, and buy all sort of useless stuff... ^^ Then english and chemistry sessions, but whatever... And tomorrow night, party!

I had McDonal'd for lunch today

So, every time I go to post on here for the past 2 days I end up losing a connection by the time I hit reply. You'd think I'd learn to make sure I am connected before hitting reply.

Now I'm gonna try this again.

Today in Central FL (Orlando and surrounding areas) are wearing Pink to support the cure for Breast Cancer. It's awesome seeing so many people coming together for this cause and actually wearing pink even the men. Businesses all over Orlando hahve gone pink in support. They even had the light in the main water fountain pink
