what exam is that? it sounds big, good luck! I'm going to rant for a little bit, so feel free to brush over this if you dont want to read it. Today is my mom's bday. But i'm extremely resentful to mother and they way she is dealing with her stress. She's taking it out on my dad. While she's always been like this, and i know people can't change, especially older people stuck in their ways, my dad simply can't handle it in his condition. She's making it very hard for me to like her. I love my mom and respect her hard word and am sympathetic to the burden on her shoulders but i simply dont like her right now. I feel like a bad person, especially seeing my dad and his unconditional love for my mom. I don't understand how my dad can hold that unyielding love and I can't help but be bitter. To make things worse i keep finding out things about my brother that makes me dislike him. He's refusing to help out and contribute and just plain care and be considerate to my dad. He doesnt pay for anything, or help out in any way even though he has his fair of share of bills ( car insurance, student loans, gas- hell even my mother buys him lunch everyday) While i'm here furiously job hunting , cause in a few months i have to help contribute to make the mortgage, my brother is all whatever about it. I've been budgeting my money to get my mom a birthday gift. I asked my brother what he's getting my mom and he said he's going to this fancy bakery to get her a cake. Then my dad told me he told my brother, and gave him the money, to get the cake. so it makes me angry to hear these things. I have my licensee but because my brother drives the care i'm not allowed to drive. It's been almost two years since i've had my license and the last time i drove was the day i took my driving exam. I walked my ass all over in 90 degree weather trying to get my mom a gift. And he cant even drive to the store to pick her up a birthday card. It's frustrating. Sorry, just needed to rant a little.

| Tasha ~ I kind of understand. My brother won't do anything as well. He will let himself get into debt so much then my parents will go and dig him out. I have worked since I was old enough to. I watch my funds and pay what I can. Sadly I do have to have my parents pay at least one or two bills each month and I don't like it. My brother is like "Oh well. Mom and dad will help me out no matter what." And I'm the opposite of you. I love me mom. She is my best friend. My dad, I love, but there are times I just want to get away from him.
And don't worry about ranting. Do it as much as you want.

| Tasha: It's not fair that you try so hard in the money department and your brother is getting by with your parents help. I'm sorry you're frustrated *hugs*
I voted for the first time today. We've got elections going on. Might be getting a new Prime Minister tonight...although there's a chance Julia Gillard will stay in power but who knows. It's sort of strange voting. I wasn't old enough for the last PM election, but I guess there's always a first for everything. I don't really care about politics much, and I'm definitely sick of all the election campaigns and such, but I'm sort of nervous about what the outcome will be. Unfortunately I won't be at home when we'll find out the results (or almost results, there'll be a few trailing votes coming in over the next week, but we should know who's supposed to win by tonight)..now to play the waiting game. *sigh*

I liked Rudd. Its was sad how he got dumped. But I'm thinking Gillard's better than Abbott.

But I still loved him. The poor thing cried when he got kicked out But I really dislike Abbott, he's just not cool.

| Kim: So the lock in was pretty much the same as the other one. We pretty much played video games and got to do our own thing. There was food, and games provided and a basketball court and everything. It was SOOO much fun! And now I'm off to bed. | |

| We had a Church lock in when I was 15. It was tons of fun. Glad you had a great time Becca Tasha, I'm sorry about everything you are going through. My brother and sister are the same way. They want my mom to help them out with everything and won't help her out with anything. And they are both in their early 40's! We've been helping my mom out since I moved in with my then fiance. She even lived with us for 3.5 yrs. We didn't charge her anything but my sister and brother charged her when she stayed with them. It frustrates me how inconsiderate they are so I know how you feel. And rant here as often as you want. I hate that I'm not able to be on more often. Well, I'm off to go shopping with my daughter. She's already getting on my nerves btu thats cause we're at the library and she doesn't liek to sit still and be quiet lol. | |

| Wilda: Thanks so am I. I'm so sore though. Me and Davian wrestled a bit because the boys were. He tried to get me to tap by bending my arms and he didn't know I was double jointed. lol. Then he tried to get me to tap by getting behind me, pulling me to the ground and squeezing me REALLY hard on the ribs. I didn't tap because I managed to get his hold down to my stomach. He gave up. I have a higher pain tolerance than he thought.
Ela: It's where you go to a chruch and stay all night and hang out and play games and stuff. And then crash when you get home. I didn't fully go to bed until 9 Am and I'm just waking up. It's 3 PM now.

| Lol. We've done something like that but in our youth club, in a Church down the road to us, but we had to read the Bible on the hour every hour if the younger kids miss behaved (I'm Christian, but the younger kids aren't). | |

| Becca: I'm glad it was heaps of fun. It would have been terrible if you'd been bored or something, especially if you're supposed to stay the night.
Going out for lunch today with my parents, grandmother, uncle and aunty. We're going to a seafood restaurant to get their early-lunch special (it's like $10 cheaper or something, lol)...I love fish & chips meals. But until then, uni work time *sigh*

| No problem. Had trouble for about a month now I think I'll have to cut down on cans of Coke Zero a night from 2 to 1 or even 3-5 times a week maybe or just on weekends when school starts again and thanks I'll get tired soon I hope | |

| It is like 8:15 here. I like seeing the difference in times but it stinks that you can't sleep Ela. Should I sing you a lullaby? lol. I hope you can get to sleep soon. Sometimes reading a book or listening to music on mu mp3 player helps me get to sleep, just a couple of suggestions. Sweet dreams! | |

| I don't have any books to read except for the ones I've already read and the VA books wouldn't let me sleep either cos of the excitement in them and Harry P just takes ages to re-read over and over. I'll re-read that on my next holiday to France, but with school. My iPod has just magically disappeared into thin air. I put it on charge, right next to my laptop and now the charger and the iPod have gone It's between my mum, my dad (he doesn't enter my room without me knowing) and my little brother that annoys the hell out of me. Which one would you pick as the culprit? I have no idea which one. Thanks I hope I have some good sleep and sleep on time from Monday on | |

| Ela: I'm glad you were starting to get tired. It's definitely not cool not being able to sleep so many days in a row. lol, yeah the Coke is probably not helping with the sleeping thing. As a kid my mum and dad had a "Soft drink on weekends only" rule for me and my sisters (unless we were on holidays or special occasions) so I definitely recommend it. Makes all the soft drinks seem like a real treat if you don't have it so often.

| We've done that over the years, but only in school seasons. If there's no school we're aloud soft drinks every night if we want to. I eventually went to sleep at bout 3:30am and was woken up by my dog going under my bed covers for a snooze and my mum telling me to get up at 10:00am. | |
