| lol well Isabelle is tall for her age. One of the tallest in her grade. My friend's daughter is even taller though. But I'm on the shorter side at only 5'3" and my hubby is 6'1. He always picks on me for being so short I can barely get stuff off the top shelves in the stores. My nickname in middle school was shortcake. This guy nicknamed me and my friend strawberry and shortcake. She was strawberry cause she had red hair. and I was shortcake cause I was one of the shortest in class at only 5'0 then. | |

| I know right! NY just seems like the perfect party spot.
*note to self-plan a trip to party it up in NY with the hubby
We actually came close to moving to NY in Feb. We would ahve been about 30 mins to an hour away from NYC. It's not 100% out fo the question yet so the oppurtunity may come to move up there.

| Its funny, everyone not in NY wants to move here and everyone in NY wants to move out to a different state ( i do, i want the little town life lol) . NY sure is expensive- be ready for hefty prices when partying. I don't go anywhere that charges a cover charge - unless i get in for free which i usually do lol. Transportation money. I was mad as hell ordering drinks. 10, 8 dollars for a drink. Small and Water-ed down at that. Plus, I'm a big tipper of the bar tenders or even just going out to eat- My dad was a taxi driver and various friends and family do jobs where basically live off of tips. Two drinks and I'm done buying anything for the night LOL | |

| I have the little town life love. I hate it. I love the people (most times) but I'm used to the city. I'm a city girl through and through. | |

| I had a plan to do 7 different things today...in about half an hour (maybe an hour) I'll have managed to get through 6 of them. I think that's pretty good considering 7 things (4 of which were uni related hw) is a lot to do in one day.
I went to a book sale today...a local book store has been temporarily closed for months and now it's become officially closed so they've opened up this little stall for the next 2 weeks and are selling off all their books really cheaply. Most of the books were $5-$10, which was great! I bought 2 books today, and I'm going to go back a few more times before it shuts down, because apparently they're bringing in new stock every day. I was specifically looking for Sookie Stackhouse novels, but at the moment they only have the first book for sale and since I already own it twice I wasn't going to buy it again.
Hope everyone's having a good day.

| Would everyone please stop making me jealous! Damn NY girls...Tasha, I don't care if its NYC or just outside I still love the place. And yes, Wilda...definately seems like the place to be for a paaartyy! OKaaa, one day soon we should hold a Country styled party on here. JK And also, I live in London, I don't live right in the centre, but like you Tasha a little ride away. Although I do have an apartment in the centre I've always wanted to live in like a little small town where everyone knows everyone and i don't know...after watching this TV show i love called 'Roswell' I've always wanted something like that LOL And lucky you KIM I hardly ever finish everything ive planned. I've still gota go shopping for my sister and parents coming down NO! I hate it when book stores close Well, atlest you get a bunch of groovy books 'ey? Hope you are aving a good day too Kim | |

| Kim, I'm jealous! We don't have a local bookstore here. We only have Barnes and Noble and Books A Million. They always have discounts but its never anything I really want. How's uni going? | |

On other words I think I was jsut freaking myself out about the whole heart thing, I'll just go to the doctor before I leave. Kim~ I know this might be weird, but did I do or say somethign to make you mad at me? I just feel like you aren't comfortable talking to me anymore. Whatever I did I'm sorry and wish it never happened. If only I could remember.

| Jeeze Kim, I never get that much work done in such a short time! Good job! And i'm dying to buy the sookie books - i read them all except the new one that came out a few months ago. So when i actually have money to buy books i always go for books I havent read over books I've read. But i want to re-read them atleast BEFORE i read the new one. Sigh. I love book sales. I love books.
Ash, this topic is random. Mostly we just post what we are up too everyday sometimes having convo's sometimes just ranting. And the blog is my blog. I started a blog recently. I think the link is in my signature, if not I can post it again later. I started the blog with the intentions of forcing myself to write frequently and mature my writing. I have aspirations to one day publish a memoir that mixes poetry and prose.
Wilda- LOL. oh those pretzel m&m's lol.
Chloe- omg I'm the same way. I see places on shows or tv and i nearly die with longing to go there. LOL.
BTW ya'll tottally random and unrelated to anything- but this site is having a bunch of new members which is really cool. But it's killing my little OCD...lol. I'm dying to moderate and move topics posted in the wrong section around and edit tittles that are spoilers. Ah, where is the moderate or admin for this site? lol.

| ya'll, i went to bj's ( wholesale store) today and was browsing the book section. It's really a table with piles of books and I was sorting through piles when on the bottom of everything i found an ORIGINAL cover of shadow kiss ( i got into the series a year or so ago so i didnt know about the cover change into after the fact). I dropped everything and grabbed it and hugged it like no tomorrow! I was like OMGGGGGGG, i never seen the original covers in person. I was so excited. I felt like it was piece of history. Lmao. But, i didn't buy it because it was beaten up, torn edges and stuff. But, that added to it the "original " feel to me and loved it. I should of bought it. I was thinking about it all day. I'm walking around today with a little peep in my step because of that book. I feel like i had a privilege in seeing it, and hugging it lol. | |

| Tasha ~ That is too funny. When I got into the series, I got the original covers. I've thought about buying the ones with the new covers but the last time I did that with a series there was a whole lot of mistakes in the text. I couldn't even read it because it was bugging me sooo much. So I'm afraid that someone messed up the book. Okay random but I have to say it. MONKEY!!!!!!. I feel better now. | |

| Wilda: Because I live close to the city, there's sort of bookstores everywhere. But this one that's closing was like a 5 minute drive from my place, and had really cheap deals and I had their loyalty card (which I can still use at their other stores...but I can't get to them as easily so it's just going to take up space in my wallet now) Oh well, nothing I can do about it Uni's going good...I think it'll be a stressful weekend though, but everything will slow down in a couple of weeks and I'll have time to breathe. Ash: I've PMed you. You didn't make me mad, and you have nothing to forgive. The PM explains it all...I hope. Tasha: I had to get heaps done yesterday because I've got a friend's 21st birthday party on tonight and I know I'll spend most of today making myself look beautiful etc (I'm going to attempt to curl my hair...again. Last time didn't work, there was too much conditioner in my hair so the curls didn't hold...but this time I'm more prepared...I think.) I've only read the first 8 Sookie books...I'm trying to stop myself from buying the last 2 because I know I'll drop everything to read them during the week...and I can't really take up that extra time yet...in a couple of weeks I'll be VERY tempted to go out and buy the last two though (mid-session break )...I don't own #4 yet, which makes me sad because it's my favourite book...I borrowed it from a friend. possitive side: I don't have to return her copy until december Amy: Lol. Monkeys are awesome! | |

| MONKEYS RULE THE WORLD!!!!!!! Sorry. I'm in kind of a good mood. IT'S THE WEEKEND!!!!!! Only three weeks left at the daycare center and then I'm back to subbing in a real school. I can't wait! Then school, for me, starts in like two weeks. I know not a lot of people get excited about school but I am. Only 9% of people in the US get their Master's degree and I'm going to be one of those people! I can't wait to work my butt off to get the diploma. I still can't believe this is happening. I feel like dancing. Okay I'm going to stop on before I can't stop. I hope everyone is having a good day and that ya'll have a great weekend. | |
