What's everyone up to?

Ok thank you guys. I will tell them. Clothing situation is trying to be handled. I am looking for maternity clothes at like every place and so far I'm having luck with dress and guess what? I just got asked today if I was pregnant, wait for it, by my PRINCIPAL! WTF?! She walked by me, smiled, stopped, looked at my tummy, and looked up with panic in her face. She touched it, I feeling akward the whole time, and just flat out asked me then left! WTF again?! Ugh... people suck...

But my friends know and they are 100% supportive of me and Jeff getting pregnant, they are already planning the baby shower. Jeff also said we are going to get married after I have her/him. My rentals are cool with it and so are Jeff's rentals, Jeff wants to make it right since we are practically a married couple arguements and eveyrthing.

I send my prayers Wilda. Tell him he's got everyone's love here. Even the baby is praying!

I'm glad your friends and family are being supportive. All of my friends dropped me except for my 2 best friends. Pregnancy can really show you who your true friends are.

My secret to losing the weight is......I get a really bad stomach flu last fall, so I lost like 20 pounds with that, and I had heart burn so badly that I thought I was going to be sick, so I didn't eat a lot. But now I eat small portioons and cut out pretty much everything that tastes good but is bad for you. I treat myself once in a great while but not too often.

Tasha ~ I'm glad to hear your dad is getting better. Rehab is (hopefully) the last step before he can go home. YOu and your family are still in my prayers. I hope you don't have to got through that again.

Wilda ~ I hope they find your husband's niece. I can only imagine what your family is going through. You are all in my prayers.

Okay some exciting news from me. I am going to be starting my grad work in the fall. I so can't wait. Yes I have to work my tail off to make sure I get a 3.0 for both the classes I'm taking but It is so worth it. Right now I'm a Pre-major, if I get the 3.0 in both classes then I can enter the major.

Wilda~ Thanks and I'm sorry those people suck for dropping you. I know how you feel now I lost maybe six people because they found out and don't want to be known as the "Slut's BFF." Frankly they are the ones who are sleeping around. Why must we have bitches in this world? And they will find her I promise! This I can't be wrong on, I hope, no I'm serious they will find her.

Amy~ Wow, there's a way to go. I got sick, ugh hate Florida now but still love it *gives myself a weird look*, with a stomach bug. So I went to Walt Disney World with my family right? Well had a good time, then went to visit my grandmother so she got sick and lucky me I always get sick from her. So the day we need to leave I get sick and puke the whole 16 hours home. I was so miserable, I'm surprised I can eat saltine crackers now.

And congrats girl! I for one am SUPER PROUD of you! Edu. is really important to me so this is like over exciting! Ok I am praying and, ok I fell over a table before I read this, tables hate me , and like wow! Tell your brain, no demand your brain to work really hard! Brain I command you to work!

Sorry I so hyper sounding. I just found out that I'm actually two and a half months pregnant goign on three now! Oh and the MS is holding off for this afternoon thank goodness.

Wilda, I am sorry about the panic going through your family right now. My family has issues like that all the time and they usually get solved (or atleast a semi positive resolve is found) I am sure that will happen for your niece too!

Today was not a good day at all for me. First thing in the morning, my band director asked me to conduct and it was my first time conducting in front of the entire band so I was a bit nervous and unprepared. I messed up but it wasn't massive. I noticed a trumpet player who had also tried out for field commander laughing at me in the back and then all day he kept giving me smirk looks that seemed to say "haha! you suck, and I am better than you!" He got last place during the try outs and has been pretty bitter. He ended up insulting me and my conducting all day long with things such as "She can't conduct at all. She has no talent. She has no common sense (knowledge) And, she is too immature to be a field commander." Man, he drove me nuts today but when I saw him I just ignored him or smiled. What I don't get though is how he came to a conclusion that I am immature. I like to have fun and I will joke around but when it's time for business, I am very serious. Sorry, I didn't mean to dump all of my complaints for the day on you guys.

So, still sort of sick, but I managed to go shopping. Didn't end up buying anything, but scoped a few things out...had to cut it short though, I started getting pretty tired and my head felt all heavy I hate being sick...haha.

..As for my little sisters birthday on Monday..
My parents did not turn up, they cancelled their seats.
As i study ballet, i managed to get a quick hold of some tickets to a performance of 'The Swan Lake'!
Gracie adores ballet aswell and has long said she wants to be a ballerina when she grows up, I know it is probably just a childhood thing, but i thought it would be nice for now! Anyway, she loved it. My brother however did not. He says he only likes the performances when i am in them
Then Lavvy made a special cake from chocolate sent from Belgium and it was delicious!
then me and my brother got her a locket
And we also gave her a ballerina doll (ofcourse we said it was from Charles )
And my older sister send her a dress, which she's going to wear to a ball this summer

Amy, I think it's awesome that you've change your eating habits. I am definitely jealous lol I did ok for the first 2 weeks and then fell back into my old habits. I have cut a lot of bad foods out but not as much as I should.

Ash, I meant to comment on this yesterday but forgot. I can't believe your principal just out of nowhere asked you if you were pregnant! Gosh i hate it when people do that. it's rude! For crying out loud what if you weren't pregnant? That can be such an insult! I've seen it happen before. As for those who dropped you because they didn't want to be known as the 'slut's bff' all I can say is screw them. You don't need people in your life like that. I have very few friends that I actually hang out and talk to b/c of people like that. I have major trust issues from those kind of experiences.

Well, as of last night, she still hasn't been found. She's been seen by several people trying to get a ride to st louis. They have no idea if she is with her bf or not. My dad in law said that if she's brought home he's sending her to juvi. Apparently they've been having non stop probs with her since they took her in 2 yrs ago. I've been trying to talk my husband into giving her a choice of juvi or coming down here ot stay with us for a while. But at the first sign of trouble she goes back. I've seen how most of the people come out of those places and I'd hate to see that happen to her but she's already headed down a rough road. I'm the kind of person that if I can help I want to help. My in laws aren't in the bets of health to be dealing with drama and stress like that. I think I may be able to help her or at least hope I can. Idk me being only 8 yrs older may make it worse cause she will think she won't have to listen to me. She's in that I don't need to listen cause I'm 16 stage. She thinks shes an adult. *shakes head*. that girl has no idea what the real world is like. Well maybe she does to a point. Both her parents are in jail for drugs and crap. Which is why my in laws have her and her brother (the oldest one left as soon as he turned 18). She keeps on and she's going to end up like her parents which si what everyone is trying to prevent. But something I have learned is you can only do so much for someone. They have to do the rest.

Today I am going to watch Alice in Wonderland. I bought it last night but the hubby didn't want to watch it so I'll watch it today. And then I've gotta clean and do laundry again. And in the middle of all that I'll start reading a book. I'm in need of that escape today.

I'd rather learn who my true friends are than have a bunch of people who aren't really going to be there for me when I need them. It sucks but there's a lot of people like that. They are friends and want you to be there for them but as soon as you need them they bail. I don't want/need people like that in my life. Those same people also tried to worm their way back in after my daughter was born. One of them apologized for the way she acted. And a few of them just suddenly appeared back in my life. I rarely talk to any of them now. I'm happy with those who are in my life. I've got my best friend who I have known for almost 11 yrs-me and her have been through hell and back been friends not friends etc. And discovered recently most of our drama has been caused by other so called friends. And I've got a few other close friends that I can count on. Then there is my mom and husband. I don't really talk to the rest of my family. Oh and my cousin. She's the best! And I've got you guys so I'm pretty content Thanks for being here girls! It means a lot!!!

Yeah, i get what you mean. Sometimes you are greatful for situations that show who your true friends are, but then ofcourse other times you wish they didnt happen so that you wouldn't lose people you were close to.
Some people that i am friends with are so stupid and bratty and bitchy that it makes me want to knock all their heads together!

Thius week has been bitter sweet fro me.
I am excited for college and I wish I could start now but I have to wait.
The bad pat is I haven't worked at all this week, which sticks. It's the life of a substitute teacher. I'm hoping that I'll get called in tomorrow and Friday. Next week is almost full so that's good. But things afre going to be tight. The school year is almost over, so I have a feeling I won't be working as much. *sighs* I'm so bored.

Well nothing new for me. Except I woke up this morning thanks to the little one with terrible mornign sickness, still going on I might add, and now I'm missing class to sit here and puke my guts out. I have to go get allergy shots today yay me... But we called the clinic about it and told them about my situation and they said it's a one in a million chance they will affect the fetus.

Kim~ I'm sorry you are sick. I wish I had magical healing powers to make ALL of you not sick.

Wilda~ Very well said. I believe if you do get the chance to take her in watch her closely and set some ground rules. I mean you and your husband are already parents to little kiddies but a teenager pfft god help you. All I'm trying to say is be gentle and get her to talk about everything. If it were my parents she would be sent to Military School pronto.

Chloe, juvi is a juvinile correction facility where troublemaker teens go. Some stay there until they are 18 some are just sent there for a ltitle while. If my niece goes it'll be until she is 18. Most kids that come out of there don't change. Some end up worse while very few change from the experience.

Well, my husband just called. They got her late last night. (would have been nice to have been called) The cops gave her 2 options she can go hoem with her grandparents and take what comes or go to jail. She chose to go home. They haven't decided what they are going to do yet so idk what will happen. I just don't understand teens-no effence to teens on here. Why run away from aperfectly safe home? IMO living with grandparents who love you and are taking car eof you is better than living on the streets. Not to mention safer.

I asked my mom last night if I was ever normal. I've never been a bad kid. I didn't get drunk, do drugs, sneak out, run away, have sex with every guy in sight. Sure I got into trouble here and there for fighting and skipped classes, and school occassionally-not that my mom knows about that lol. And there was that one time a friend of mine and I snuck to that house after school and lied and said we stayed after school for something. And I had the typical teenager attitude but I feel like maybe I was never normal cause I didn't experience whateveryone else was experiencing. Maybe I would understand my niece more if I did I dread my kids becoming teenagers by then I doubt I'll be prepared...

Well I'm super glad she was found. I guess the prayers are working.

Wilda ~ I'm glad she was found. I just hope she realizes what she put everyone through and gets her act together. I know your family is trying to help her and I can only applaud their efforts.

Chloe ~ I have not gotten into any trouble but I have gotten mad at some of the students. One thing I am at changing, especially when I get my own classroom, is bullying. I was bullied all through out school and I hate it. So the kids I got made at were bullying each other and I almost yelled. I want the students to understand that it hurts when someone is bullied and that it can cause some people to take their lifes. Sometimes I don't know how I got through school but then I figure ut out. I had great friends and some great teachers who stood up for me and I learned kind of how to deal with bullies from living with one. So I'm trying to change things for everyone in the classrooms I visit.

Sorry, I just like rambled on there but I make sure the students do all the work that I assign them whether they like it or not. But that's because most of the teachers give students time in class to do their homework so they don't have to do it at home.

Wilda: I'm so glad she was found. It must be a relief of sorts to know she's safe. And it's good to know the police gave her a choice, it means they haven't lost hope entirely. Life without hope would be a bit of a mess. Are you still considered her coming to live with you? Personally I think that might be better because you're closer in age. Maybe she'll still rebel because you're not completely older than her, but at the same time you'll probably be able to get through to her more than her grandparents.

Chloe: haha, I don't think a visit to the doctor would be too helpful. It's not the flu or anything, just annoying I'm functioning well enough, just over-exaggerating a bit, you know how it is, us humans like to complain about stuff, makes us feel important if it continues into next week though, I might consider going to the doctor. As it is, it's only day 4 of the cold, and my sore throats gone away already so I'm sure I'll be good as new in a couple of days.

Last day of semester today. It was sad. I'm not going to have any friends doing the same courses as me anymore.

I'm having trouble responding to this because there is alot of stuff going on. I keep going back to read the comments then going to post a response and can't remember everything. Lol I'll make it simple

Wilda- yay! It'll all work out with your niece, we all out grow that phase eventually. Bout the friends ditching u when you were pregnant thing. Today i just reunited with a friend from high school. She was my very first high school friend and best friend freshman year. We fell out of touch before graduating senior year. But over the summer we friend ed each other on face book and today we hung out for the first time. She's a mother of two now. She asked me if it's weird, and my response " it's funner! I got a baby to play with now! More entertaining!" She was surprised because she has alot of friends who act weird around her now because she is a mom. and she waited til the last minute to tell me she had her baby with her because she said people usually cancel when they find that out. She said she was even more surprised that i was considerate and helpful ( helping her with the stroller and stuff like that). Are people really that mean? That's just rude. Point is- they are still the same people. Just different life circumstances.

Kim- hope ur feeling better!

Chloe- sucks about your parents not making the party but like wilda said, as long as ya'll have a good time that's all that matters.

And thanks for the concern ya'll. I'll emotionally and physically spent. I'm just so drained and feeling numb. I'm really failing biology. I'm borderline for another class. But then the other two classes are A's. I'm okay though. Just sad because Saturday is my birthday and it'll be the first one without my dad. I miss my dad alot and school is so hetic because this is the last week of classes and then finals. it's just all crazy right now. But, it's almost over and i can't wait. I'm super sad because my sign langugae class--it's the last level and i've bene on a long journey with all my classmates since the very first level. And my other classes- i've made some awesome friends. I'm going to miss see everyone everyday. We all say we're going to stay in touch- we friended each other on face book and stuff- but the sad truth is we never really do.

Yep people are that mean. It's sad that people let their friendships go or get awkward b/c someone has a baby now. idk what its liek being the one on the outside. I just know it can be hurtful when your friends don't want to hang out b/c you ahve a kid and that kid tags along. Idk they act liek your not you anymore. I mean yeah having a kid changed me but it didn't change me that much. I'm still me.

I'm sry your so exhausted Tasha. Hopefully once all your classes are over you can finally rest and relax. And it sucks that your dad won't be there for your birthday. But you can always go visit him for a bit right? I hope you have a great birthday anyway. you deserve to have some fun and enjoy the day. What are you planning on doing to celebrate?

As for my niece, we're not taking her in. She's currently at Juvi. My dad in law tried talking to her and getting through her about her actions and she zoned him out. She wouldn't listen or even aknowledge what she did was wrong and dangerous. So he took her to juvi. My hubby asked if she acted like she was sorry or upset about where she was going but the girl wasall smiles and giggles like she was going somewhere fun and exciting. I personally think she'd be too much for me to handle. All her life she's hasn't had much of an adult there for her. She's always been allowed ot do whatever she wants with no rules or consequences. Well once her grandparents took her in there were rules to be followed and consequences if you didn't. They've had non stop problems with her since day 1. Its like she just doesn't care. And bringing her down here to a place she doesn't know wouldn't be a good idea. If she were to run away I'd have no way of finding her. She knows no one here so she wouldn't have a place to go. She would just run and likely end up hurt which scares me. Plus i have 2 little kids both impressionable. Specially my daughter. From the sound of it she needs to go to juvi. I hope being there will make her realize how good she did have it. I hope it changes her for the better. Maybe they won't make her stay there for the full 2 yrs. Itd be nice if she changed and was able to go back home. I worry about her. I wish I could help her but I've gotta think about her safety. If I knew for sure she wouldn't run away we'd bring her here in a heartbeat. I'd gladly take her in and deal with her attitude but she'd most likely run away again and probably wouldn't be found...I hope I'm doing the right thing for her by making her stay there. I feel horrible about it all and a little sick to my stomach over it

Ash - Thankyou And Im sorry you have morning sickness..and that you woke up from it! Thats good that it won't effect the baby! I had to have injections aswell at my school about a month ago, they didn't hurt as much as i thought...

Wilda - Ohhhh! I thought Juvi might be something like that, but i wasnt sure and didnt want to start talking about it if it was something completely different. I don't think that you weren't normal because you did do things that teenagers do. Not all teenagers drink and take drugs, but you're right quite alot do nowadays? And heheee, yeaah its good when your adventures manage to escape the parents hey?
OMG! I can't believe that she was still so dismissive of her behavious I thought she would have acted different? And she was smiling when thinking about going to that place? I would be scared!!! And even though I haven't really had parents I still respect the people that look after me now, and the people that brought me up. Because well..they brought me up and helped me through the main part of my life! Im greatful and she should be too
And dont worry, I think you're doing the right thing. If you took her in, even though you might have been able to help I think the chances are pretty low. Like you said she probably would have run away again, influenced your daughter, and she wouldn't be as safe not knowing her surroundings aswell So you did the right thing in my opinion!

Kim - Hahaaa! Yepp, i know what you mean My little sister is such a drama queen about illnesses (not that you are btw ). She makes such a big deal out of anything. Infact she used to pretend she had a soar throat so that Lavvy would make her some special ice-cream *rolls eyes*

Bullies really upset my self-restraint y'know? I hate it when older people (16) bully younger people (13 or so..) I always step in and say something to them about how pathetic they are. My brother is the same. Even though our social-statuses are high, we don't stand and watch things against our beliefs We went through a little name-calling when we were younger where people would tease our whole family because of our names which was really stupid and pathetic (Wilda and Ash know what im talking about..it was pathetic no?!)
So yes, you are an extremely good teacher, and I hope you get your own classroom soon!

Yesterday was a horrible day for me but today I have been really happy. I am starting to learn how to thrive on all the negative attention as well as positive. The band director wasn't there today so I conducted for band and the obnoxious kid who was picking on me made sure to sound like crap to somehow "insult me" I suppose. It just made him seem pathetic.
