Soooo how did your anniversary go Ash?

My daughter came home with a homemade necklace, card, and a cd with a video of her and her class singing a song a remake of BINGO with MOMMY as the word lol. It was super cute. I love homemade gifts they are so thoughtful IDK what we're gonna do this weekend. My husband is working Saturday so I'll probably go take my mom a book-Catching Fire. I doubt he has anything planned for Mother's Day on Sunday. He's not exactly a romantic creative kind of guy I just hoep he lets me sleep in, cleans the house for me, and cooks. well idk about cooking cause I don't want to eat eggs all day lol.

What's everyone's plans for the weekend?

I am super pissed right now. Today is Mother's Day and the only thing I asked for was to be able to sleep in with NO interruptions. My husband promised me thisbtu do I get to sleep in thsi morning. NO! I understand he worked yesterday and didn't get home til 2am and then stayed up until 4am on the computer. But he still told me I could sleep in today. Normally when he is working so late i have no problem getting up with the kids but b/c he promised me more than once I could sleep in and then refuses to get up with the kids it really pisses me off. I know I sound selfish right now and I should get over it and let him sleep cause he's been working a lot of looooong hrs. I just tried getting him up to spend the day with me and all he says is let me sleep til 10:30am. UGH! Watch 10:30 will come and he'll say let me sleep til noon. BLAH this day sucks already!

Sry for all the whinning. I'm usually not this whinny. I guess the lack of sleep and crankiness is making my emotions stronger today.

Hmm..well I went to a party last night...went on for quite a long time. It was a late invitation so I had to get ready in 20 minutes..thank god I didn't have to wash my hair and that I already had an outfit that I could wear!

And in about an hour, I'm going to the hospital with Shane to see his mother. That's a big thing right? Your boyfriend allowing you to go to the hospital with him?
And yesterday was our 4 month anniversairy But we went out and celebrated properly on Friday after school till late, because we both had plans during the day yesterday But I had so much fun so it's all goooooood

And NOOO Wilda?! I hope you start to feel better later today In England we had Mother's Day in March But anyways...Cheer Up! I'm going to give you a virtual "Mothers Day" card, just because you are an overly cool person, and I know you are a great Mom!

I'm watching Lost. My sister got sesason one in birthday present so I'm watching it with her. I've been out in the forest with some friends this weekend so I'm very tierd. We walked about 20kilometers and slept almost nothing. But we had very funny. =)

Happy Mamma's Day Wilda! I hope ur day gets better. If it makes u feel better, things are pretty sucky in my household too. Mother's Day is forgotten. My dad has been really really sick. Yesterday he blacked out. He has a really bad flu but he is also diabetic. He is refusing to go to the hospital but he is not getting better. Meanwhile my aunt is charting my cousin to the house she has a 102 fever and kidney pains. :-(

Thanks everyone. My day has gotten tons better. I did send the kids to wake daddy up lol. They got me flowers and he took me shopping. I got 4 books-no surprise huh? lol I got Spells, The Awakening, The Reckoning, and Before I Fall. I would have gotten more but my hubby is smart and gave me a limit The hubby and kids are cleaning the house for me now and are taking em out for dinner tonight. So even though it started out crappy it's ending pretty good.

Ok details:

Ok so my anniversery... Wow loads of fun! Ok I told you about the day part but the night was wonderful. Oh guys it was so romantic. It turns out it was the best night of my life. So first Jeff didnt take me to dinner he took me to this abandon dance studio and we were supposed to go dancing but he had other plans... Oh it was amazing! So first he had this little makeshift bed on the dance floor and like a little basket with food in it. He and I ate and talked same old same old and then he scooted behind me and gave me a massage and just tourtured me in a good way with kisses. So he would touch me on my arms and legs and then started kissing my neck, leading to something. So he stopped and held me really close to him and sang me one of his new songs he made up and he brought his guitar and I started to cry it was called "Two Lover's Hearts Beat As One." It was about us, how sweet I was in tears and when he finished I bumbarded him with kisses and he ended up on top of me and stopped to turn on some more music, all his, they were his more gentle, soft, and sweet songs and we danced together until no end and he would write I love you on my back and whisper it in my ear. I just listened and snuggled with him, saying things like "I love you more than anything," or "Forever in my heart," <That's our saying. Then he would kiss my lips, cheek, neck, hands, or nose. Then oh god guys I was so shocked here.

He stopped and took my hand in his and got down on his knee. He looked up to me and I think I stopped breathing and my heart stopped. He took off my promise ring and held it on his pinkie and kissed the empty space and said the most wonderful words I have ever heard from him, other than I love you. He started like this. "Sweetheart, I love you more than my own life and would do anything for you no matter what. In life you get chances and ususal you only get two and well I only want one to make no mistakes on, just to see your face everyday and your smile makes me the happiest man in the world. I love everything about you, the way you handle things, the way you laugh and smile, and the soft touch of your skin and the beat of your heart against my chest when I hold you close to me, Ash no one like you can be replecated nor can it be replaced and you deserve the best of the best in life, nothing less or less than less." I laughed here and he pulled out something, too dark couldn't see, and I heard a little 'Pop!' noise and then the lights turned on to just spotlight us. I looked down and saw something and it was an engagement ring. I couldnt speak and practically couldn't breathe at all. He took the ring out and held it at the tip of my left hand's ring finger.

He kissed it and asked me the most wonderful thing in the world. "Baby, I want to spend my life with you and only you. You complete the empty hole in my heart and even though we are young and may get into fights, all I know is that it will get better in the end and this is a real ring to say that you are mine and that I will love and cherish you until no end. Ashleigh (my last name) will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?" Of ocurse this meant after high school and like I'm crying and nodding and he is waiting for the damn words to come out so I let them just come out like no end. "Yes, yes, yes, yes Jeff I will marry you." He slips the ring on and I pull him into a death grip and kiss and squeeze him to death. I dont think I let go of him after that, unless to go home, which I am not enjoying.

So I am engadged now! Oh god I know this may seem fast and we are young but he said all those things and I knew the minute we met something was meant for the both of us, between us, and no one could tell us other wise.

awwww thats really sweet Ash! Congrats again! My hubby and I had only been together a little over 4.5 months when he proposed to me and I was only 17. So I can't say much about being too young lol We got married when I was 19. I definitely suggest waiting until after you graduate from HS but honestly, I don't think age is a big deal. of course I might feel differently if my daughter comes home at 15 engaged lol How did your parents react?

I'm currently waiting for my dress and books to come from UPS I hate the 9am-7pm(or later) time window.

My parents were 17/18 when they got married, so age clearly doesn't matter Although they were still older than you, like Wilda said .. probably wait until your graduation, but it doesn't really matter.
And lmao Wilda..that's what I love about my parents situation, they were young when they got married and then they were 18/19 when my mum got pregnant with my sister .. so they can't exactly have a go at me if i get in that situation But I can see what you mean...

lol Well, I was 18 when I had my daughter. My mom was 16 when she had my oldest brother so she couldn't say anything. But the disappointment was there. It'd be the same way for me if my daughter gets pregnant real young. You always want the best for your kids and for them to have a chance at a life of their own before settling down and having a family.

Yeaaaah! People always say "I want kids when I'm 20-something, and I won't get pregnant until then..." but you can't predict your future so...
Some of my friends are really judgmental about alot of things, but I actually think alot of young mums are amazing! But not to offend you, I don't think I'd be able to handle it..

And btw everything went okay visiting Shanes mum! YAAAY!

Jeff says thanks and loves you guys for being so supportive! Jeff was like 'You know one thing I really want to know? I was so freakign shocked when he asked that! I said "Yeah maybe I mean why not ask them?" Ash, congrates again and love how he proposed. I'm sure Jeff is a great guy but please be careful. My best friend married when she was 21 and right now she doesn't think she loves her husband anymore and they have 2 kids, both were not planned. Until her husband can give her a reason to love him, she won't wear her wedding ring. I mean he got mad at her for not apparent reason and through something at her. Luckly, she dodged the item. They didn't tak for 3 days then he asked if she wanted a divorce because they were fighting so much. She told him how she felt and he said he didn't want to divorce her but he wants her to be happy. So she gave him one last chance to get his act together.

I just don't want anything bad to happen to you but I'm happy for you and Jeff.

Thanks ya'll. My dad isn't better. I'm actually only stepping home to shower n change and eat then head back to the hospital. My dad is in intensive care . He had a heart attack over the weekend( he didnt even know he had one) and now he has a laundry list of problems. Today was one of thee hardest days of my life. what do u say to a doctor who asks " if ur father hearts stop should we resuscitate ?"

omg, Tasha. I'll cross my fingers for his recovery. I can't imagine what you're going through. Just trying to take deep breaths and stay calm.

Tash, I can kind of relate to you. MY dad had a heart attack in Feb. He didn't realize he was having one until he was at the hospital. He felt off the day before he went to the hospital. I didn't find out until I was working, subbing. My mom called my cell but it was on silent so I didn't hear it and then my cousin called the room I was working in antd old me to call my mom right away. I called her and when she told me I broke down in front of the students. I couldn't believe it but with my dad's life stlye, it was bound to happen. I hope he gets better. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
