Hmmmmmm, kinda. I haven't read those books in awhile also so I'm a bit blurry on the details.

| For instance, Rose tends to show defiance at her mother when ger mum hid stuff from her, as Gemma had done her own mum, except Rose's mum's errors are somewhat less Severe than Gemma's mum's, for the most part, while Lissa Dragomir reads like a prettier, angelic, and Vampiric version of Ann Bradshaw, except i don't recall Bradshaw mating with anyone. | |

| Vampire Academy and the Sookie Stackhouse novels are my favorites. I like Twilight too, but really only the first two books and Midnight Sun. Eclipse had virtually no plot, and Breaking Dawn was a huge mess. | |

No Plot, as in aside from War to the Death against Victoria's lot?

No Plot, as in aside from War to the Death against Victoria's lot? Yaeh but in Eclipse- it was moreso Bella being stupid then the battle scene. Her wanting to scarfice herself and trying to pick between Edward and Jacob. It was so anticlimactic. SM build up this epic battle and then we didnt even get to witness the WHOLE battle. So, I agree with extraordinarygirl86.

I heard that Vampire Academy's action was Mediocre, but if V.A's Action is meant to be mediocre, than Twilight's action, for the most part, is just flat-out atrocious, for the most part, as far as novels are concerned.

Despite the fact that we only get to read about half the fighting in the 1st Vampire Academy novel, do we get to hear about the whole battle, and witness it, at the same time, in Shadow Kiss?

No Plot, as in aside from War to the Death against Victoria's lot? The majority of Eclipse consisted of Edward and Jacob fighting over Bella, and Bella whining about wanting to be a vampire. The "war" against Victoria and the newborns had a lot of build up, but that "plot" really did not deliver in the end. We did not get much of a fight. That's what I don't like about the Twlight Saga. Meyer builds up these action plots that don't really go anywhere. She spends all her time focusing on Bella and Edward's obsession over each other to the point where she completely ignores all her other subplots.

Don't tell me that...like i heard if Vampire Academy's Action is 'Mediocre'[somewhat doubtful on that!]then twilight's action was atrocity of the worst kind, right? Dang it...if i heard right, twilight would have been better than Vampire Academy, had a better author[who can actually write war scenes, who can actually deliver remotely decent enough romance, who can actually develop a potentially compelling cast, to the point in which at the very least, there's just the problem of fully fleshing them out!]ended up writing the series, as Jill noted.

| Vamp Academy is better than Twilight on every level. Romance, action, political upheval thrown in too. Dimitri and Rose make for a hotter couple. | |
