New Moon - the movie

Half of the theater was laughing during the vampire Bella running scene when I went to see it.

I don't think I would even watch twilight movies if Megan Fox were in them.
I agree it went downhill in the final few minutes.

well it was kinda chessy but sweet at the same time. >.<

I reviled the words i'm about to say, but most of the Jack-Asses on the Internet[who failed to attend Bad-Ass Classes, instead!] would have boosted the Jack-Assery on the net, had Megan Fox played Bella Swan, instead[and worse...she'd get an Academy Award before Bonnie Wright, Emma Watson, or Evanna Lynch do, which would make me madder! ]while if you get Miss Bledel to play Bella, less Jack-Asses would descend upon us!

Why is it that everyone ignores when i had to ask if the New Moon movie was better than the Order Of The Phoenix movie[something twilight barely got away with, mostly due to luck?]as well as the 1st twilight movie?Apparently that's because its not worth saying much, on either count, especially the former!

um i thought new moon i think they were probally even but new moon was more like vampireish? i guess and different the order of the phoenix...

I am beginning to suspect that if the Order Of The Phoenix movie was far weaker than the New Moon movie, instead of the case by the Novels where its the Other Way Around, that has more to do with the film-makers having a deep affection for shooting themselves at their feet, to the point where only O.O.T.P's final 30 minutes, plus Bonnie and Ginny, Rickman and Snape, and Oldman and Sirius, were any good!


The quite hilarious thing about that, is apparently the movies were on the mentality of the other way around, as apparently H.B.P was the time in which W.B got the message to get serious when Order Of The Phoenix fails to do that right, and All 7 novels are finally released!

yeah i know and actually the director of new moon did alot better job than the one of twilight but for the twilight series there gonna have a different director for each movie i like chris weits the best he did awesome!

Well...he did do a better job at doing this sequel right and shielding the brain-cells, in the process, better than Bay had done in Transformers 2 and far better than Yates did with Order Of The Phoenix, i'll give him that...but i still think we have to just blow both the heads off of W.B and the twilight marketing team[along with Bay!], and end the nightmare, once and for all, at least until we find a gifted crew that will keep everyone content!!!

omg! i agree so much edward is so dang ugly and theres always gonna be someone that someone doesnt like... becuase it cant ever be perfect.

Cross, don't judge a book by it's movie. I feel twilight as a book was okay- not great-but okay. I thought the first movie was poorly done. But, it's more so that book was never supposed to be made into a movie. The plot just wasnt there. Film makers only had so much to work with. I think what lacked was special affects and good acting. I feel the actors have potential to be better but they dont receive criticism from professionals. Everyone is just on the twilight bandwagon. However, New Moon seems to have a better budget, better effects- yet still that will only take it so far because the plot in the books isn't there. They are trying to hard with twilight which is why there is so much dissatifacation and disgruntled fans. But, the movies are not made for the fans of the books. They are made for awhole different demographic.

I love the Harry Potter books. I felt the movies evolved as the books evolved. However, they are a victim to their own editing and cutting. They slowly but surely left out little meaningful things in each movie. With Order of the Phoenix alot of that information is needed to fully appreciate it. As fans of the books- of course we're disappointed and upset. I was upset with the half blood prince. They left out way too much for my taste. But the movie was good! My friends that never read the book see absolutely nothing wrong with the movie. that's fine. movies are made to attract a broader audience. Not fans of the books.

I'm still urged to cry for the lacklustre treatment Jacob was given in the sequels after Eclipse, as i wished he were in P.J.A.T.O or The Demonata series, by Riordan and Shan, respectively, where someone like him would get better treatment!

Then again, i'm curious as to when Dean Thomas of the Potter-World will get his own spin-off, in which he kombats armies of Dark Wizards by himself, just to learn more about his father...i'm starting to think his father was like Charles Beckindorf of the P.J.A.T.O series, except...i don't want to get to spoiler-land!

As for the Riordans and company, i'm sure they will keep us content until we find some other group that can satisfy us, outrightly!

I meant as a possible ally to Grubs and friends, although i'd be shocked if there's something along the lines of Vampire Academy, but with Werewolves...they'd be as between the Demonata wolves and the twi-wolves, as Vampire Academy's Vampires are stuck between Cirque Du Freak Spartan-esque Vampires[i meant that as a compliment, since the Vampire Mountain Vamps felt like the Spartans!] and the twilight-Vamps[whose origin story was even less developed than that of the Moroi and the Strigoi!]

So, i just saw the movie. I have to say it was by far better then the first one -not an "OMG OMG epic movie". But still, i was engaged and pleased for the most part. Honestly, since half the movie was minus the vamps- i enjoyed it. They didn't even kill my favorite line from the book "Jacob, your sort of beautiful" . Love the additions especially Charlies lines. I thought it was decent. Dakota Fanning was awesome- short part- but awesome. I think that Jacob kid single handily saved the movie. I love his parts. He's one of the only ones in the movie who can act. And my goodness my jaw dropped when i saw that kid take off his shirt. Funny, when i read the books. I was team Edward. With the movies- I'm team Jacob all the way.

Alas, at any rate, i hope Lautner and Jacob will be able to be protected from the very same kind of Character-Assassination that i felt Ginny Weasley was nearly struck by, and she wasn't so much a mary-sue, as she was just a massive trust-fund baby with a need for happy pills[no matter what most people on both sides for her would say, otherwise!]

At any rate, i hope that Lautner and movie-Jacob can continue avoiding the assassination, but all the same...i hope Lautner gets more rage installed, when Jake has to fight, again...at least the movie managed to get whatever justification that Jake had for his breakup to come across, even though in the novel, it made things worse, on everyone!Too bad Edward lacked enough reasons to justify his break-up, in the first place, or else he wouldn't end up suffering level-downs in Bad-ass and stray so far from his bad-assery potential when he should be getting closer to meeting it.[in other words, i still need to beat Edward with a brutally durable baseball bat, that will inflect pain on him!But at least he's less of a jack-ass in the movie than he was in the novel, right?]

I'm still crying on how wasted Jacob's potential is...I don't blame Lord_Loss_17, of Gaia Online, or Kurokawa Akira...all the same i feel i have to cry, but i can't shed tears at all!
