What book are you on Chris? Wait a minute...i heard that at least some of the guys from Black Dagger Brotherhood was said to have trained in a modified variation of the Spartan Way, in which it may usually include, but not limit to, starting to learn to fight at a young, but able, age. Is that true? In any case, i heard that some ancient Spartan Soldiers happened to either be blood-brothers or they're also bi[for all i know, it could be both!] during the ancient times, so i wonder if its mostly blood brotherhood in here rather than a case of going bi?

Do you mean trained in hell, in more ways than one, Master? Or do you mean the manner of the TVtropes guide? In any case, i am glad i'm not the only one who suspected it of Vishous, really.

| Just finished Lover Mine. Man what a ride. - Spoiler:
I loved how Darius/JM's past was tied to Xhex's. Darius was there the night of her birth. He took care of her as a father would and loved her like a father. And now JM has found her and they are together. Finally. They were always meant to be together weren't they?
At first I thought I would be disappointed that JM didn't learn that he is Darius reincarnated. Afterwards though, I kind of like that he still doesn't know, and he doesn't need to know. Like JM says, he goes forward and doesn't look back. Even though Darius/JM are the same soul, they're not the same person. It would change a lot of things if he or any of the Brothers knew. JM can live his life brand new even though he'll always have memories of who he once was.
I'm really looking forward to the next book because the stuff with Blay and Qhuinn needs to get sorted out. At least, I hope it gets sorted out in the next book. Unless they're getting their own book? I was left way unsatisfied with them, especially since I'd been hoping they would get their HEA in this book. Nope. lol I'm kind of resenting Layla and Saxton right now, even though they didn't do anything wrong. I guess I just really want Blay and Qhuinn to be together, and I won't like anything that gets in the way of that.
I thought that bit about No'One being Xhex's mother was cool. And even cooler that the business with Darius/Tohr and then Tohr/JM came full circle. So cool that Darius took Tohr in like that. I love them both so much now. I can't wait to see more Tohr. I so want him to be happy.
I think one of the things I loved most about the book was the dedication at the front to JM. So frickin beautiful. But my favorite part in LM would have to be when Darius gives Xhexania away.

So did the Blood-Letter happen to have a name, by any chance, dare i ask? Now that sounds...i don't know how to word it in a way that would show shock on the idea without coming out offensive, because i know i happen to have at least a few R.P Party members who were literally trained in The Spartan Way, except the variations they trained on didn't require...whatever is implied beyond the surface of that training camp, if i hear right, Mistress. *Gulped not out of personal fear, but of a fear for anyone else, there*

| You definitely hit all the high points. The low points was the lack of any real meaning for the other characters, the rambling Rathboone storyline (really did we need that much to establish Muhrder?), and how Xhex, spending so much time in John's brain, never saw Darius look back. I agree that the Qhuinn/Blay thing is killing me. Between their pain and Xhex/JM's pain, it was an emotional storm this book. Why do you think SV looks less bright? - dimkaluv wrote:

| So Barrister, did it turn out that the Blood-Letter had a name, after all? You mean a lot of the stuff the Blood-Letter did was pointless and meaningless the entire time? | |

Ehh... I don't think the next book will be out for a while... like next Spring. Does anyone know if Qhuay is getting their own book? Or is that HEA going to be a subplot in one of the upcoming books? Man, I can't wait for Payne and Manny's book. I really liked her. She's a bit psycho, but she's V's family. I kinda wonder what Butch will think about V having a sister... Jedi - I think the SV is losing light because the Omega is being weakened by the Dhestroyer. Isn't the series always about balance? I think that the SV and the O are connected, so whenever Butch inhales lessers instead of stabbing them back to O, he's hurting the SV too. They are related and all. Either that or she's fading away because fewer and fewer of her creation are believing in her. Does a god exist if nobody believes in it?
