From what I read at that Bitten By Books Q&A with Richelle, the Succubus series rights WERE sold to FOX TV. I kinda hope they make it an adult cartoon. That solves the problem of finding actors. To be honest, I'm glad, because I was hoping to see a TV Series/movie out of those books.

I agree, perpetual. Networks like HBO, Showtime (sp?), etc. They tend to make high quality programs. A good example of this is Dexter. Dexter is fabulous! Everything about it is quality: the actors, the costumes, the cinematography, effects, script, everything!

FOX? I'm not so sure. I'm just so nervous that if they do make something of Succubus series that they don't screw it up. I really love these books and especially Georgina. I would hate it if Succubus got the Vampire Diaries treatment.

^ Yeah, Vampire Diaries TV Show looks crappy, but thats probably because its on the CW. There's barely any good shows on the CW.

But Fox? Well, theres 24, House, Family Guy, etc. on Fox, so if they made a TV Show out of the succubus series, it shouldn't be too bad.

However, I still wish she sold the rights to a cable channel. I think the Succubus series would fit more in a cable channel, because of the large amount of sex and swearing in the books.

I wish Succubus had been bought by Showtime or HBO because they can get away with the kind of raunchy, sexy, mature audiences stuff Georgina is all about. lol But just because it's been bought doesn't necessarily mean anything will come of it.

No, i'm saying it because of the movies that came before it, and the fact of the matter that W.B movies in general are getting worse, and to make matters even worse, W.B's going to take control of Hollywood if no one does something about it, soon!

For example -- Fox had a lot of crappy movies last year and this year such as --- Dragonball Evolution, Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li, Bride Wars, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, I Love You Beth Cooper, The Day The Earth Stood Still --- and honestly, I could go on and on about how many crappy movies fox made. But as for TV Shows, well...they have a lot of good shows on their channel.

WB, on the other hand has a lot of good movies --- such as, Watchmen, The Harry Potter movies, The Dark Knight, The Hangover, and possibly The Time Traveler's Wife.
Their TV Shows suck though. I think the only Warner Bro's TV Show I like is Moonlight...and at first, I didn't even like that show, but it grew on me. =/

So yeah...you get the point. Fox should stick to TV Shows, and WB should really stick to movies.

EDIT: Ok, so I just looked at WB's website and clicked on "Moonlight". I then saw that it said something like "Reruns Fridays at the CW"...WTH????!!!!!! I hope this isn't true???? I'm pretty sure the Moonlight reruns were on SyFy....anyway, I'll save it for the Moonlight topic.

Well...they probably could make a sex scene, but they wouldn't show much..at all. They'd probably just show her lead the guy into a bedroom...and well...them kissing and then switch to another scene.

Even Universal Studios have better movies than W.B, for the most part, in numbers, at least, not in preferences, The Dark Knight, not with-standing, although i felt that most of the post-columbus movies have wussified the Potter-World beyond belief....generally speaking, anyway.

I personally think that all studios have good and crappy movies .

I felt that there were too much weaknesses all over the place, and too much of the stupid..that it could even be felt on even W.B's Best Movies, for that matter...no matter how much their best movies would make sure they excise the stupid off of them...plus, the fact of the matter that they're breeding out less meaningful movies by the year, or was it by the month?
