I've been counting down it's like looking forward to Christmas morning and dec 25 rolls around and you come running out for presents only to find a note saying sorry Christmas has been delayed another 2 days. You just think what kind of sick twisted joke is this, Oh what a world! So yeah.

Aw, sorry to hear that. I agree it's weird because I'm reading all over the place of early shipping's, early releases. I figured with the soft release date, like you figured, it wouldn't be that big of a deal. That's why i dont trust technology anymore.... lol. ( i haven't read this series yet, I'm saving it for after the sixth book of VA, i just can't handle more waiting time for more series)

If i knew ya, I would drop by with a big cup of coffee for ya so you can keep energized and get the book read.

Well NTB, were you happy with the way the story turned out (so far)? I know I was! And I think if anyone reads back in this thread, they'll see that we sorta predicted a couple of things. I won't say what. I don't want to spoil.

I hope Jill and others who are still waiting for the book that it comes soon. I would love to be able to discuss! It's more fun with more people.

all I can say without spoiling is I can't believe how much Richelle crammed in the last I'd say 40 pages

You're right. Your review was not spoilerish (spoilery?).

And also you're right that what happens in SS needed to happen after SH. For my emotional well being, SS was needed. A big reason why I love this series is because it totally grabs my emotions and takes them on a roller-coaster ride. Over the series, I've been happy, excited, sad, angry...the whole gamut. The fact that I felt all those emotions is a definite credit to Richelle and her writing ability.

I so can't wait for everyone else who is following this series to get their book and read it so that we can talk more "freely". The last thing I want to do is lessen someone else's enjoyment or surprise.

I heart Georgina! I also heart Georgina's immortal friends! I wish this series could go on forever, but I suppose I understand. We certainly don't want a good series to "jump the shark" and deteriorate into silly stuff.

Well i finished it yesterday and well it was a whole lot of stuff happening thats for sure. I liked the end yet at the same time I didn't because of the consequences that will come along with that decision. I do like roman and was hoping he would have had a shot so I liked his roll in this one somewhat. i don't know theres just so much to ponder and think about. The dreams were cool at first but toward the end I was like man when is this torture going to end so I guess I felt georgies agitation. That isn't to spoilerish

I don't mean to alarm anyone, but I think there is something wrong with the spoiler space function. I didn't have blank boxes to click on, the spoiler was already displayed. I'm personally OK because I've finished the book...I just feel badly for others who may not have had the chance yet.

...I....HATE...IT!! . I'm done with Georgina . I don' think I'll be reading the last book....I hate this book and made me hate Georgina , who! was my all time fave character from Mead's books....I'm so....blah....it friggin' sucked @$$!!

Do you hate georgina for what she did to seth? Or roman? Or maddie? Cuz I was really upset at her at the end of the book so I can see that.

I for one loved the ending. It's what should have happened ages and ages ago. Succubus Heat felt like a cruel filler in my opinion. I can't think of a single thing I liked about that book. Shadows was just fixing what needed to be fixed.

Yeah I totally feel ya. She is a very selfish character even though richelle tries to make her seem selfless. The more and more we learn about her past the more we see how selfish she was, and in present time the way she treats roman, maddie, dante we see that selfishness again. I agree seth is a prick and i would have loved to see Georgie end up with roman instead. The one thing I didn't like about the book which i wrote on the other thread was about how i didn't like roman going from bad ass nephelim to Georgina's door mat! what the hell! I really hope that is all a mask and he actually has a devious plan of revenge up his sleeve, and by georgina dissing him again, he goes through with it. The dreams part were a little drawn out as well, After reliving three dreams I was over it hand kinda just scanned over the rest. Other than that though the book was good. it most definitely wasn't my fav. in the series though. Same with blood promise I found that one a bit boring compared to the previous VA series. Low and behold rose and georgina's stories are coming to an end. Then we'll get some new material.

Yeah I wish Roman kills Seth and try to kill her too.... I don't really care if he gets killed for trying...blah..

Should the kreepy scenario happen to Georgie, in the last novel, just so she can be happy?

I don't see this selfishness at all. I really don't. Georgina was ALWAYS having to put others' happiness ahead of her own. And the time she uses the favour for herself and people begrudge her that? I don't think so. When I finished the book (what seems like ages ago, now), I was so happy. I agree with dimkaluv. Shadows was finally some justice for Georgina. I'm not a Roman fan, but I did feel just a pinch sorry for him when he showed up with the flowers and Georgina was rushing out the door to be with Seth. I will concede that point, that had to have hurt him. But come on, I think everyone here knew that

I just had to share this with everyone I've recently become a mother of 6. I'm taken care of my nieces and nephew now, in addition to my own offspring. One morning while I'm doing all of the girls' hair 4 girls, before school we were watching the discovery channel and before I knew it my whole house was in an uproar. My nephew kept antagonizing his sisters saying that they were mice and he was a snake. Then they'd retaliate saying they were jaguars and he was a snake, So he became a lion back and forth they went I just could not stop laughing hearing them defend their animal against the others. It was surreal especially because they are all bright blonde kids too. Of course I just couldn't help throwing a certain scenario into the mix, "spider monkey and a unicorn." I nearly died laughing. After I took everyone to school I just could not get that out of my mind all day.

So yeah, now being responsible for 6 kiddies definitely takes its toll on me its exhausting, I never have any time to myself anymore. Which is partly why I haven't really been on much lately. Sorry about that, but now you know why. I'm looking forward to spirit bound and will voice my thoughts and opinions of that one.
