Succubus Series AKA Georgina's series

I love that nearly everyone bought Georgie a new christmas tree. There's only so many one person can fit into an apartment.

That was the best! And what's funny/ironic is that demons even celebrate Christmas. Aren't they like the opposite of Christ? LOL!

They "are" but then again they hang out , play pokar and get drunk with an angel...

yeah, I reckon they just use it as a day to hang out, especially for Peter since he likes cooking and throwing parties so much. None of Georigina's group are really all that "evil"

You're right, they're not fully evil. They sort of embody the yin-yang. That is, not everything is purely good, and not everything is purely evil. It's just on paper that demons are of well, Hell. Hell is where evil beings are.

True, you sort of forget that they're not actually from hell, just hell's representatives.
I guess since they were all mortal once they've watched traditions grow over the years, some of them have to appeal and stick at some point.

That and christmas is a family sort of holiday and they are eachothers family. It's probably an excuse to get together drink and in peter's case entertain.

One of the ironic things i found funny about the that book was if you remember all the real estate jokes Seth used to tell georgie about Mistee. In this book he's with Maddie who playing Reale state agent to Georgie and Seths sleeping with her.

At the end of Succubus Blues I wanted Georgina to be with Roman now I'm kind of thinking not so much Roman feels more like an Adrian type character minus the feels for the leading lady

I hate labelling characters by compared to the author's other books.
You notice similarities sure, and it's hard not to emphasise them because you get one character (Seth in this case) who stands out in the eyes of the main character and so we assume there has to be lesser characters who fight for the main character's love in every series, and sure, Georgina does have quite a few of those lesser characters. But who's to say Seth will turn out to be "the one"?
I suppose the same thing could be said about Rose and Dimitri, except with Georgina she sort of fought the Seth thing for a while and attempted to move on without him while he was still aroud. While Rose can't even consider thinking about someone else if Dimitri is still living.

Yeah I'm looking forward to the next book to see where this relationship "Platonic" goes between Georgie and Roman. Richelle even mentioned at eher signing that she's not so much liking one of her male lead characters and is having second thoughts of him ending up with the girl. It was pretty obvious she was talking about Seth.

As for Roman reminding you of Adrian, I get where your coming from but Adrian's character is very sardonic, and in the Succubus series Carter plays the sardonic one. Roman is just fun and exciting. If Carter wouldn't fall i wouldn't mind it being him in the end, he's always so sweet to her in his annoying sort of way. Kinda like Adrian and Rose. Sometimes it seems like Carter has feelings for Georgie, but then i talk myself out of it saying he's an angel he's like that with everyone. Except in the books he's not, he's just like that toward Georgie.

you know thats pretty bad when Seth makes Roman look like the eligible bachelor. Who knows things can always change and Seth might some how redeem himself. Right now I like Roman!

I always liked Roman , there's no doubt about it

I just bought the series for my step mom as a christmas gift. She gets into this genre well the vampire stuff anyways. I just lent her VA series on thanksgiving I have no doubt she'll like it more so than some others she's reading right now. HON. I know succubus isn't really a vamp book, but I know she'll enjoy it it's so well written and more mature. I'm excited for her to read them and see who she sides with.

So well hmm looks like the wedding is still on. This sucks that means georgina is going to be miserable through out some of the book that sucks. Damn Seth! grrrrrrrrrr. Well this Simone sounds like she's going to piss me off now too. If anybody is going to damn Seth's soul it should be georgie. But maybe Simone will aid in breaking up Seth and Maddie. Well looks like Georgina and Roman will be getting along in this book.

Well, if you read the first chapter of SS at the end of SH, you would know that FatMaddie is still planning her wedding. 'Scuse me while I barf. Anyway, but like you said, maybe Simone will be a factor. Personally, I would still rather FatMaddie (I'm liking this nickname) found the nudie pics of Georgie, gets her heart broken/is humiliated and then gets run over by a bus. That would be for the best.

I really do hope that by the end of the series that Georgina finds happiness. As my most favourite character ever, she deserves it.

ss comes out march 30. Ok so I leant a few books out and for fun I'm reading them on my kin. along with my friend right now so we can talk about it together. I started 1/2 way through Sot no were in the beg of SD. I was reading a little more into her dream. The description of her daughter

"wispy, light brown curls covered her head, and her hazel eyes were large and framed with dark lashes."

Seth "He had disheveled brownish gold hair with a reddish-gold gleam to it. Steady brown eyes."

Roman " Intense green-blue sea -colored eyes. black wavy hair. deeply tanned skin"

Letha " _________" Can someone help me fill in the blank where she describes her original self or tell me where about to look. Iknow she was tall with light hair.

Going off of the men though

Curly hair wavy hair, Hazel eyes green blue eyes with dark lashes, = Roman 's the father. Dark hair mixed with moms light hair could give a kid light brown hair.

wispy and disheveled brown hair = Seth's the father.

Looking at it that way the girl has more of roman's traits.

So Nyx shows dreams of the future to people but it's not always what it seems right. What if Roman fathered the girl but some how died trying to protect Georgina and the little girl. Then Seth marries georgina and steps up to be the girls father? Or vise versa with seth and Roman. Seth fathers girl but something happens and Georgie and Roman end up together. I can see professor Roman carrying a brief case not so much Seth. Something about the dream has gotta give. Like all the other dreams when nyx was around somebody died right?

I'm still sort of processing her having a child altogether. So for me, I can't comment on your guy theories. While both Roman and Seth seem like the main possibilities, who knows if they'll actually be the ones.
But you made a good point about the briefcase/professor-y thing. What chance is there of Seth giving up writing?

Yeah me too I have been so caught up in georgina being able to have a kid and figuring out how that's going to become possible that I never thought to stop and analyze the kid herself until just now.
As for Seth Id say slim to none his fantasy world is his comfort zone he functions better in that world than he does society. He's an artist and as an artist myself I can honestly say you can't take that away from a person it would destroy them. I also don't think georgina would ever make him give up his writing either she's not like that.
