Thats exactly what I was trying to say Tasha. I just went through it with one of my best friends. I practically jumped all down ehr throat cause she's 25! WTF are they teaching in sex ed these days?? O rmaybe its just that kids think they know everything and decide to cut up and goof off instead of paying attention and preventing life threatening diseseases and unwanted pregnancies. No effense to anyone. It just really irritates me with how uneducated those having sex are. If you are having sex or not you need to know everything you can and be prepared.

sorry for the double posts, but my friend is freaking out. Theres a bigger possibility thats she pregnant. They had unprotected sex on the 13th day after her period and he pulled out. She's really tired, moody, boobs are sore, and she feels sick. All can be symptoms of both pregnancy and pms. But I can't help leaning towards the pregnancy side. We'll know within the next week, but I hope this can be a reminder of how important birth control is.

Sorry Tania, I don't mean to keep bringing it up and I know you're probably starting to get pissed. I promise to not say anything else unless you ask I just ca't stress it enough to use protection at all times. I don't want to see you go through something you aren't ready for.

I know how it is to think you know everything. I thought I did. Recently, like a year ago recently. i took a human sexuality course. And I was sitting in class like "this is a waste of my time, what don't i know? " and I was so wrong. even stuff about like STD's and STI's i thought i knew about... in that class i learned i really didn't. it blew my mind. Now i know, i just barely know about things. The basics. I'm much more cautious now. ANd open minded. I don't pretend to be aware and all knowing.

I'm actually frustrated because my doctor doesnt want me on birth control Before, I wasnt on birth control because I was a smoker. You cant mix the two and though thats a lame excuse, the honest truth was i was smoking and if u smoke while on birth control you can have a stroke or heart attack. ANd now i've quit smoking but my doctor doesn't want me to go on birth control cause of my weight and health issues I have. I used to be real thin in high school and now i gained alot of weight. I'm in the process of losing weight, my clothes are starting to get baggy i'm freaking excited. But now that i'm sick it's ruining all my hard work. I'm not allowed to work out cause my lungs are too weak, two inhalers isn't even helping much. But anyways, my doctor said he doesnt want me on anything that has symptoms of gaining weight. Since my family is full of heart conditions and diabetics , he really wants me to drop all the weight i gained since high school and lower my chances of all these health risks, especially since all the issues my father is going through. So i dont mean to be a hypocrite about things. Cause I'm not. But i take other precautions. ANd i just want to make sure the younger ones on here are educated. I know how helpless u sometimes feel about options. ANd i wish i knew about more options when i was younger. There is stuff out there to help you.
