I copied and pasted this from "whats going on thread" cause im too lazy to re-write it...but here is why i put the sad face before...

So today I took the hubby to the neuro- oncologists. I was prepared for bad news, but not the horrific news we received today. The oncologists told us his tumor is stage 3. She said stage 1 is the lowest stage and stage 4 the worst stage, stage 4 is terminal. She said because of his young age ( 24) and overall good health besides this, he'll respond well to treatment. But the treatment is intensive. Radiation monday - friday and Chemo everyday for six months. She said doing this treatment will halt a recurrence for now but in the future it still something we have to look out for because his type of tumor is aggressive. She also told us he may still have seizures because he has a cavity where the tumor was and scar tissue and the damage is done. But their is a slight possibility he may not have seizures ever again.

His neuro surgeon was so optimistic and though he did say it wasn't benign he said isn't wasn't high grade either. So i felt blind sided by this news too. I love his surgeon. But he seriously needs to go to school for people skills and talking English and non medical jargon or something. Nothing can really prepare you for news this heavy but still i rather have been left in the dark then to be caught of guard like this.

I'm not even sad anymore. I'm just angry. So very angry.

My daughter had her First Grade Performance last night. Back in January they did projects about animals and their habitats. Each class had a different habitat and each kid had a different animal from that habitat. Isabelle's class was the Wetlands and she had the softshell turtle. So last night they performed songs about their habitats and read a few lines about their animal. It was super cute! The kids were adorable and it was such a great night. At the end the kids surrounded the parents and they put up a video on the projector and had the audience dance with them. From where I was sitting I didn't get to see my daughter do it, btu I did she her 8 month pregnant teacher dancing. LOL it was a sight to see. But yeah like I said the kids were adorable and it was funny watching all the parents get into that dance. My hubby didn't get to see it cause my son started misbehaving while the other classes were performing. He wanted his Belle lol

Blah the hubby is working out of town all weekend. I had to get up and get the kids up at 5am to take him to work so I'd have the car (he rides with his boss). Tomorrow my mom is coming to babysit while I have a Girly Day Out with one of my best friends. Lunch and mani/pedis

Thank you my loves. I really appreciate all your thoughts and kind words. it means the world to me. I think more so then actual people in my life. Maybe because you have all the fake friends and fake compassion and fake sympathy being thrown at you from all ends. People who obviously didn't care about u all that much when you were healthy but now when your sick they want to come out of the wood works. I know the concern here and support here is genuine and not because anyone feels obligated. HUGSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

And she has no family or friends that can financially help her. To make it worse the mother tried to write a check to pay the rent but the sister took the check and left. So messed up. So today, my cousin and my hubby and I are going to have a intervention sort of thing to try to help her out in any way we can. But even with that situation, just the hanging out with everyone and the talking he had such a good time. He was real upset about all this and even moreso because his bday is Saturday. But, By the end of the night he said he forgot her had cancer and went to sleep with a smile on his face.

I honestly dont know what I would do without y'all. U guys give me so much strength to stay positive and determined. HUGS.

And Wilda your daughters performance sounds amazing. So happy for you. And enjoy the girls day! Sounds like a good time.

I completely agree! I feel more comfortable coming to SB than going to most family and friends.

HI Tania. I'm...aggravated. I just spent 10 minutes trying to get a call to my mom to go through. Stupid phone company. That's twice I've had trouble making calls and I've only had it for 3 weeks. Ugh i'm sleepy and tired but can't sleep cause i hear what sounds like mice in the walls. So i'm terrified and paranoid about that and decided to just google what i could do. Apparently not much because there is no visual signs of holes or anything. But i hear stuff and its so frustrating so i kept googling and one article suggested getting a cat that hasn't been declawed.Lol.

Today is the hubby's bday and i wanna go back to sleep cause after being sick yesterday i just dont have the energy and he wants to go out later.

I am SO tired. Went to bed at 11pm but all i did was toss and turn cause the hubby wasn't home. I can't sleep well when he's not in bed. Then my son started waking me up-2, 3:30, 4, 4:30. My hubby got home at 5am and I finally fell asleep around 5:30 only to get woken up an hour later then again at 7:30. So I'm up. Hard ot sleep with the sun shinning in my eyes and my son constantly bugging me.

The hubby leave around noon to go back to work. It'll be another late night. My mom will be here sometime this morning and I leave around noon as well to go get lunch and mani/pedis with my best friend. So thats my plans for the day.

Tasha, I'm sorry you are tired and don't have any energy but I hope you and your hubby have a great day today. Tell him I said Happy Birthday!

Tomorrow's our six month anniversary. (: I'm excited. As for everything else... I got a letter in the mail yesterday about a Congressional Youth Leadership Council. It's this thing were you got to Washington D.C. and learn about Congress and stuff. Looks good on a college application, so I think I might go. Only problem is.. Money, of course. As for stuff on here. I don't know what's going on anymore and I feel so out of the loop. I'm scared if I try to jump into a conversation that I'll say the wrong things and no one will bother explaining what's happening. I guess I'll jus slowly fade from Shadow Bite until someone notices. Meh.

Becca- I'm not sure whats going on with you and Davian and i'm not sure how i feel about it either. But if your happy and he has a positive influence in your life then I support it and wish you and him the very best. Congrats on 6 months!

About the Congressional things. Those things look good on applications and resumes- true. But it's not the best things. Plus if your grades are good you needn't worry about extra stuff. So if it costs too much don't worry about it. There are other things just as good if not better. The stuff you do with your church, if you still do that , counts and looks great on applications. Anything involving the community looks way better. It holds much more merit then the congressional things. Cause you see this congressional thing sometimes is fancy but doesn't really hold merit and value- meaning if you can buy your way in then you can go. While other things take actual hard work or dedication which is why community service stuff is held in high regards- community service work isn't easy stuff and has an actual effect on the community. There will be tons of those stuff you can get into , and other volunteer work. Just make sure you get a letter from them stating you actually served them and their contact info so you can list them and contact them in the future. I dont know if your high school has this, but honors society things have leadership programs all the time- for free too.

And I feel out of the loop all the time because I just can't get on all that much and when i do sometimes there is pages and pages. And with all the things in my life i just dont have the energy or time for myself to go through things. But usually i just ask how everyone is doing and they respond readily. I'm sure everyone will be more than happy to give you an individual update. But also, lately i've noticed where all talking over ourselves sometimes. I know i do this too- give my update and barely respond to everyone. We all can put in a little more effort to be considerate to each other.

Whats going on with me? I think you've seen and responded to my updates but just a recap for you. My dad is doing okay. His colon tumor was stage one and now he is refusing treatment. He just wants to go about his life. I got into a really bad fight with him , but we've made up and quite frankly he is scared after everything with my bf. My bf was diagnosed with stage 3 brain cancer. WHile they removed the tumor he still has residual tissues there and the treatment will be intensive -chemo and radiation everyday for six months. Today is his bday so we're all just trying to have some fun and keep positive and keep our spirits high.

Everyone else? It's hard to keep track but Amy posted an update about herself a lil while ago- she is doing fine and has a potential relationship going on. Sam was going okay last time I spoke to her, though i do think she will be going away to visit someone soon though I'm not sure about that. Tania - she hasn't been able to be on much cause her school blocked the site but last I heard she is more or less okay. Broke up with Travis. And Rhia - i t hink is fine, i was commenting her the other day. Wilda- is okay as far as my knowledge goes. The usual stuff with her. She is going for a girls thing today. Chloe pops in and out but she said she was fine and Gracie is fine. I"m not sure whats going on with Taco. But liek i said before, i[''m sure everyone will give you individual updates.
