RM has definitely said it won't just be a repeat of Rose's story from another POV.

My guess for the Spin-off will be that it'll centre of the revolution itself. There can't possibly be an entire revolution and the result of it during Rose's books, especially not when she's so concerned (or perhaps I should say obsessed) with saving Dimitri. Though I really dislike Spirit being connected to every situation, Rose's story is essentially about the rediscovery of Spirit and the effects it has on the present world.
In my opinion, the next series will focus more on the joining of Moroi and dhampirs; making them equal, therefore: Victor's revolution. I don't know whether that'll mean Victor's the main character or someone else (maybe Tasha teaching, or perhaps it will be Mia...or maybe a new character but there will just be a few of the VA characters who feature more prominently...RM never said it was going to be from the POV of one of the 3 VA characters apparently in the series, she just said there will definitely be three of them in it)

Before we knew that 3 characters I wanted the spin-off to be about Janine, Tatiana and Abe ...because I'm convinced she was once in love with Abe, but he picked Janine and that's why Tatiana really hates Rose (and Janine) because she's got a grudge against their family. ... but I don't think that one's going to happen now.

its aight secretmagic i hope they do it in christains pov or hell evan natalies up unitl she dies then it swithches to mason in frostbite then to christain again.

sorry but if they do it in christians point of view i would just so efing happy hes sexy but i love dimitri way more

Dimitri i mean come on we never really knew what he was thinking or feeling and we could see through his eyes what being a strigoi is like id love it so much but we have to keep the titles though

it just sounds so cool right now but maybe not to other.

RM has already said it won't be VA from another character's point of view. It's going to have a completely new story-line with visitations from a few of the characters we know already (3 of which will feature more strongly). So we're not going to be inside Dimtiri's head unless she decides to continue the story from the end of Rose's with Dimitri (which personally I don't think will happen because we'd basically be following Rose again, and the whole point of the spin off is that Rose's immediate influence on the story is pretty much over at the end of Bk 6 of VA).

You're not the only person out there who likes Dimitri, but seriously, there'd be absolutely no point doing it from Dimitri's POV (or hoping it'll be from his POV, especially considering we don't actually know if he's going to live or die yet). If he does live it's pretty obvious him and Rose would be together and trying everything possible to never be apart again...so his POV would be what? a male perspective of the continuation of Rose's life (because it's obvious that Rose would be telling him everything that happens in her life)? If that's the case RM might as well just keep writing Rose's story, but she can't do that forever because otherwise the story drags on too long.

I cant find this anywhere on the board! But a few days ago Richelle wrote on here site that the last and #6 book in the series is called: Last Sacrifice!!!!!

What do you think about that??

I think having a book in Dimitri's point of view if he lives as a Strigoi in the end would be kind of cool

I would love to have something from Dimitris point of view! All we know about him is what he says to Rose and what his family said. We dont really know what he thinks and how he sees things! Maybe Richelle could write a few chapters and just post them on her site!

well if it makes anyone feel better, the last sacrifice comes out december 14, 2010. but until then we can keep guess to see who's point of veiw it will be. truthfully i would love to read adrian's point of veiw to see what he went through with spirit and loving rose

While I was asleep I had this delusion that the spin-off was going to be from Rose's pov but 5 years younger.
