Ok, guys. The word is in, and it's not good. I'm told that due to technical problems, the chapter can't go up today and hopefully will first thing in the morning. I'm very sorry about this. It's beyond my control, and angry messages to me and/or my publisher can't fix it. I'm crossing my fingers for tomorrow.

You're not the only one. I went onto Richelle's and Peguins fb pages and I got annoyed cause of all the complaining about it not being up yet. I wasn't planning on reading it-it'll only torment me with having to wait a week for the rest. But it should be up tomorrow if not theres only a week left and more teasers to come.

I really don't think Adrian is Lissa's half-brother. Why would Lissa be giving Rose her blessing to marry Adrian when it's pretty obvious their relationship will never reach that point?

My guess is either Richelle lied about the lack of Dimitri's family in the last book or Lissa has a half-brother and she's talking to a new character about him. I'm thinking the former is the most likely answer.

I think your right that it's Viktoria speaking to Rose, but wouldn't it be interesting if it was Dimitri's half-sibling. His father was supposed to be a Royal Moroi, maybe an Ivashkov likea Adrian. But I doubt Adrian would say that to Rose.

No guys. People are theorising that it's Lissa speaking to Rose and giving Rose permission to marry her brother. Some people are speculating that the secret illegitimate brother could be Adrian.

Don't worry! Rose isn't giving Lissa permission to marry Adrian.

That would be a LOT of about-facing in love terms for everyone. Lissa dumps Christian for Adrian, Adrian dumps Rose for Lissa. Whoa!

Don't think Richelle is going to be squashing that much drama into the last book.

I think that's one of Dimitri's sisters talking here...with Rose...it has to be...otherwise, the quote doesn't make any sense at all.

Definitely, no or else we know has any siblings period. Adrain and Christian are both only children, and I'm assuming Rose is too. The only other option is that if Lissa's half sibling is a boy but it doesn't make much sense seeing as we don't know who he could be let only anyone who would marry him. Rose and Dimitri are the only relationship that could be close to marriage aside from Lissa and Christian. Maybe Viktoria visits her brother at court, or we could be all jumping to conclusions and it could be some one joking around considering person 2 says " huh? What's okay?"

I thought it could be a joke too, like Rose is talking to someone who's kid brother is infatuated with her. It's a good quote to throw us off.

Yeah, I don't think it's Viktoria. It's too OBVIOUS of a way to say, "hey rose get together with dimitri and i just ruined the end for you!"

At the same time, I don't think it's Adrian, because that would make HIM the eldest Dragomir and Lissa wouldn't get to be the Queen. (Unless he'd be counted as an Ivashkov still, idk, but then they would still be no quorum.) of course, that could also possibly be a huge twist that Richelle throws in there. I think this is a more likely thing to happen than Viktoria coming over for a visit. but yeah, i don't think its ever mentioned that Daniella was a dancer, so really I have no idea.

I think the first picture with the mountains is an obvious hint at her journey to find Lissa's half-sibling. I'm guessing the hospital picture is hinting at Rose getting injured? Or maybe it's a hint that she'll be dealing with a tragedy, like the death of one of her friends.

One of the quotes from goodreads.com said something about being taken out by a gun.. Maybe Rose gets shot when Lissa isn't there to heal her? Hence surgery, mountains could be a hideout, looks like we're looking out from a cave..

so have any of you seen this official trailer video from amazon? The Dimitri they used isn't all that bad, the curly hair is different. I however do not like the rose or lissa they used at all. Lissa actress looks like she's 30. What do you all think?
