First Line of Last Sacrifice/pre-view Chapter

While reviewing www.shadowkissed.com this morning I stumbled across a post about LS's opening line.

Also, in Richelle's latest blog she said that she probably won't be bringing out the first chapter a month before the release like normal, but in the last week of November (so basically a couple of weeks before the release)...We'll have to wait a little longer for out VA fix *sigh*

LS is really close to coming out. I wasn't even thinking about the first chap coming out soon. I'm not bummed out to hear is going to be later. It'll save us from the agony of a 1 month wait.

I don't think I'm going to read it. I'll just wait for the whole book. Hopefully nothing will get spoiled in the time it takes me to buy a copy.

Yeah, I'm not really all that disappointed either...We're already waiting now, but having the teaser chapter just makes the wait harder. We'll all survive.

That's patient of you Ash! I don't know if I'll be able to wait to read it once it actually comes out. When I don't have it available I'm fine, but it's way too tempting when it's posted online.

I'm definitely going to read the chapter, because by the time I will be able to buy LS, everything will be spoiled...

Sounds intresting..I prob will read the first chapter a month away I can't wait!

Ohhh so the first chapter will be the escape I think.... She is in prision planning the BIG escape YUJU!!
I was a little disappointed by reading the blog.. so we will not have the description or first chapter till late november.. well fortunately I have tons of books till the release date of L.S.

For the people who don't want to read the first chapter, I would honestly just keep away from the boards because there will be spoilers. The first line came out and suddenly it was everywhere.

This is the first time I've seen that line posted. I have decided that I will not be reading any of the spoilers nor the first chapter. I don't want anything to be spoiled. I want to read it all at once. Plus reading the chapter and all the teasers will just be torture. Besides the release date is only 1 month from my birthday, and I've survived this long I think I can wait until the book releases. But not a day later! lol

Also, you don't have to avoid this site completely. Just stay clear from the Last Sacrifice topic if you don't want to read any spoilers. Plus people PLS remember to use the spoiler tag like Kim did if you post anything spoilerish.

Wilda's right, the spoiler thing is our best friend during the lead up to LS.

Caged... she talk about her being in jail, right?

Thats what it sounds like to me. My guess is that it starts off with her in prison/jail whatever and soon after they break her out. Just my guess. All I know is that I CAN'T WAIT to read it!!!

Neither can I!!!! Ahh, everytime I log here and see the conversation about the book.... I can't wait even more....

Well... I've done very well. I haven't seen any of the teaser quotes even though they're everywhere now. I may have accidentally begun to read one (outside this forum obviously because you guys have done a great job with keeping any LS spoilers in the LS topic section). I then proceeded to get angry and exited the page with the spoiler quote. lol But I haven't seen anything so far and I'm hoping it stays that way until my book arrives. Dude, I paid double what the book costs because I want the book ASAP (I ordered an autographed copy from the University Bookstore that RM's always pimping). Hopefully it'll get here the very next day and I can read it without knowing anything about it. I'm not going to read chapter 1 today when it goes up, and I'm probably also not going to read the description of the book until it's in my hands *hopefully* on December 8th.

WOW thats amazing. I've been watching the character and quote videos but so far I've refused to read the leaked chapters. They will only torment me that much more. Plus we only have a week to go. I think i can survive that.

Richelle jsut posted on her FB that Penguin is having some technical difficulties and that the first chapter won't be released today btu hopefully will be up tomorrow..

I broke down and read the 4 chapters. Yes I am weak, but reading the chapters are about equal to a long teaser. They leave you with several more questions and possible outcomes and eager to read more.

I can't wait until the book is released.

That's exactly why I refuse to read it. If I read it, then the little wait we have left will only drive me crazier lol

Thank you! Very exciting... And I must say that I am thankful that they didn't release them until now. Because noow it is just a week before it is released, I wouldn't have managed a month or more to be honest.

Believe me, it's worth being weak And you're not alone

Right now I'm more concerned about receiving the items/xmas-presents-to-be that I purchased online last week rather than reading any LS excerpts. I've ordered my copy and it'll get here next week. I can wait until then, though I do have to say that all of this waiting around for stuff is getting me a bit anxious to do something.

I'm going to stay strong though. It'll be worth it in the end. Unless the book sucks.
