I honestly didn't think I would like this book that much but after I started it, I couldn't put it down. It's become my 2nd fav series (VA is obv #1). The hollows has everything-Witches, Vampires-Alive and Undead, Pixies, Werewolves, Fairies, Elves, Demons, Lephercauns<sp?, Banshees, and Humans. There's love, action, tears, laughs, etc. This series has everything. Kim Harrison is a really good author. I highly reccomend reading Dead Witch Walking. Make sure you read it all the way through before deciding if you hate it.

One of my two favorite adult series! I love finding other people who have read them. Most of my friends only read YA. My favorite thus far is A Fistful of Charms. When I met her last spring she said that was her favorite, too, next to the new book [/i]Pale Demon[/i]. I can NOT wait for this book. Supposedly lots of Trent in it. And I love Trent.

And did you hear there's going to be a graphic novel?

YAY someone who has read this series! This is one of my fav adult series as well.

I did hear about the Graphic novel. It's going to be about Rachel's internship and told from Ivy's pov. I love Ivy so I can't wait to get it.

And I'm dying to get my hands on Pale Demon. I've read the first four chapters (Chapter 5 releases Feb. 15th) and it's driving me crazy not to read the rest but I keep torturing myself every two weeks. And so far there is lots of Trent

This is my second favorite adult series. My favorite is Kelley Armstrong's Women of the Otherworld. If you like these, you'll likely appreciate those. They change up narrators from book to book, so even at book 11 it's not stale, and it keeps plot lines from running together and making you wonder what happened in which book. Haha!

I love Ivy, too, although I liked her more in the beginning. Rachel drives me a bit nuts sometimes, but I enjoy her stories. I loved Trent and Pierce from the start. And, of course, Jenks and Matalina and the other pixies. But Al... I hated him until book 8. And now I kinda love him.

What are your favorites in the series?

I'll have to look into that series. I like her Darkest Powers triology so I'm sure I'll like Women of the Otherworld as well.

Rachel and Ivy are 2 of my fav female characters. Grant it at times they irritate me but I still love them nontheless. Jenks is my fav of the series though. And I had it bad for Kisten *tear* He will always be in my heart. Like you I hated Al until recently. He's grown on me a lot. I've got this love/dislike thing going on with Trent. He's SO frustratingly stubburn! lol and I love Quen. Anyone who can stand up to Trent like he does is a keeper in my book. I liked Ceri at first, but now she just makes me mad. Esp with the whole Matalina/Jenks thing. But I'm excited that she's pregnant. Can't wait for her to have the baby.

I love me some smexy elf. Haha!

I love Jenks and Matalina. A friend is just now reading BLACK MAGIC SANCTION, and she got to the sad part. I told her my copy has wrinkled marks from where tears fell. It broke my heart.

I did not like Kisten at all. Out of everyone who's read the series, I'm the only person I know () that disliked him.

lol well, I didn't like him until Every Which Way But Dead or was it Fistful of Charms? idr. Ok so technically i started liking him at the end of The Good, The Bad, and The Undead when he "thought" he was helping Rachel. The only thing that irritated me was how submissive he was.

I loved Matalina too. That part of BMS was probably the sadest part of a book that I've ever read. It was heartbreaking. I cried really hard for Kisten too though. Specially when Rachel finally remembered what happened.

Just bought and downloaded the Pale Demon Nookbook

Finished Pale Demon this morning. It's by far the BEST in the series IMO.
