so I had a nail in my tire and I spent 2 hrs getting it fixed. YAY!! Almost done with World War Z... kinda creepy.. bt I like it!! (go zombies!!!! )

Wilda & Ela: Thanks! I'm really keeping my fingers crossed to get in. A friend I was talking to about the course just told me she's applying for it too, so hopefully I'll have a friend in the same class. It makes me happy thinking I'll have a diploma in the book world At least it should be something I really enjoy.

I'm bored lol My hubby has been working all day and I've been at home cleaning mostly. I'm trying to decide if I want to watch the Superbowl game or not. How are you Sam?

I love american footie! Steelers must win tonight, b/c if they win with a point gap with the Packers from 1-7 i get to chose a take-away and a film that my parents, brother and myself have to watch, no matter what it is, we have to stay and watch the film until the credits.

So I got accepted to the college. On Fridays for the next 6 months I'll be learning the inner workings of editing and publishing

I can't celebrate much at the moment though, because 5 minutes after I got accepted my aunty called to say my grandmother had a stroke. So we're sitting around waiting for more news. I'm sort of distracted at the moment.

I'm very sorry about your grandfather, I hope he gets well soon

Kim- idk whether to jump for joy for you or cry with you. I'm SO very sorry about your grandmother. I'll be Praying. In the mean time, Congrats on getting into the college. *HUGS*

Sam, I love sports. I used to play softball on a team and played basketball, soccer, and football with friends. I was also a cheerleader until high school. I haven't played in a really long time, but I enjoy watching football sometimes although my team sucked so bad this year that i stopped watching

Wilda, I was never good at sports. I was always the girl called last in PE. I even had a coach who yelled at me becase I couldn't hit a baseball. Sam+Sports=bad

Thanks Sam, thanks Wilda. I feel the same way Wilda, I sort of feel guilty for wanting to celebrate the college thing. There's not a lot I can do for my grandmother atm. The last update we got was ok news. She's doing alright, so that's good news.

I'm happy she is okay, and I hope she continues to be okay and gets better and better every day

Getting news that she is ok is good news Kim. I hope she continues to improve and gets better soon! And don't feel guilty, I'm sure your grandmother would want you to celebrate.
