| I haven't seen any posts about the coming Harry Potter movie (in two parts!) I'm SUPER excited for this one; it's supposed to be better. Anyone else? | |

| Well, for one they'll have a lot more detail. Yeah, I know what you mean. We're gonna be left with an insane cliffhanger ending at the end of the first part. And the have to wait for JULY. It kind of sucks, but the wait will be worth it, I'm sure. | |

| From the looks of it , the wait will be soooooooo worth it. I had forgot how much is in the book. I'd rather wait til July for part 2 and have most of the book in it thasn have it 1 movie and cut out half the book. | |

| Waiting for part 2 is going to be annoying. Wonder where they'll split the two.
Thinking that scene when Harry almost drowns. Its in the middle and kind of dramatic if you don't know what happens after.

| lol its ok.
I heard and its only a rumor but I heard that they were talking about splitting it right after they get caught by the snatchers which isn't long after Harry almost drowns. In fact I think it's the dead middle of the book. Or close enough.

I remember reading that on mugglenet a while ago. You'd know you've just read it. | |

| I can't wait for the movie! The trailer is so awesome, we got to see so many fantastic scenes. I think the movie is going to be brilliant. I'm really glad they're doing it in two parts, because it would be impossible to fit all of it into 2 hours. I hope they don't cut out good scenes this time. It's so annoying when they do that and then they put something that wasn't even in the book, like Bellatrix setting the Burrow on fire. Why put that in and ignore the love story between Remus and Tonks? Absurd. And am I the only one who thinks the director is a Harry/Hermione shipper? They asked him what's his favorite scene in Deathly Hallows and he said it's a scene that wasn't it the book, he added it, when Harry and Hermione are dancing together. Apparently the Part 1 ends the trio get caught by the Snatchers. And they say Daniel Radcliff is going to be naked in two scenes. I can't say I'm looking forward to seeing that. | |

| have any of you seen the trailer for both films? they've put bits of both films together to make one trailer. If you haven't seen it then go to this website. http://harrypotter.warnerbros.co.uk/site/index.htmlthe first video that you will see, please DO NOT skip it because it's the trailer for the films. | |

| I remember seeing Harry and Hermione dancing at the wedding in one of the trailers. Idt its put there b/c the director is for harry and hermione. I actually like it. They are best friends and pretty much family. It helps show that I think. But yeah the Snatchers in the part i heard that they will split the movies at. Which is a good place cause it'll leave a cliff hanger to those who haven't read the books and start off at a good place in the second movie.
And the reason they have both films in the trailers is well, I think b/c they don't want to give too much away of where they split the movies. But it only makes the wait for part 2 that much harder! | |

| Where will Parts 1 and 2 of Deathly Hallows split?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It has been one of the most guarded secrets surrounding Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. But in a preview piece by Entertainment Weekly, they say the split occurs at the following point:
Part 1, by the way, will end at about Chapter 24 of the book, with Voldemort gaining possession of the Elder wand, one of the three Deathly Hallows that allow the bearer to conquer death.
What do you all think about that? Thats over half way through the book... | |

| I think that's about right . I re-read the book last week and i think that's fitting. Ending the first part with some thing to anticipate yet something accomplished at the same time...There is SO much going on in the return to hogwarts , so much action and fighting and stuff i think it would make for a good movie. | |

| I think part 1 will spilt, if you've read the book, when Ron leaves the tent for good. And then I think they'll pick it up from there maybe. | |

| Finally, I was wondering when they would get around to sharing this with us. I'm not going to watch it in the theater though, still miffed that they pulled it literally the last min because of the success of Dark Night at the time (disrespectful to the fan base!!!) so saving my money for the DVD.
I have to re-read the book too, it's been years I've forgotten most of it too! | |

they've released a statement saying that part 1 will end at chapter 24 where Voldermort gains possession of the Elder Wand. I agree with you Tasha. I just think they are putting a lot in part 1. idk how they will make it fit into what about 2.5 hours. But liek you said there is so much going on in the race back to hogworts and the battle and all. Who is planning on attending a midnight show or opening night show? I want to go opending weekend, but it's going to be so packed that a part of me wants to wait. but I am too impatient to wait longer than I have to. | |

| I'll go to opening night show. I wish we had midnight shows here, I would surely go. I listened to the audio of the trailer that was released on comic-con. Such great scenes, if only I would be able to see it... I want to see this movie so badly. | |

| mugglenet.com has a lot of info regarding the deathly hallows movie. Plus some reviews from the screening of part 1 a week ago. They are worth the read if you don't mind spoilers. But now i'm even more impatient for the movies to come out lol | |
