The way they're talking about it on facebook its like a studio is signing on this week.
Production can't be that far of then.
People are bringing out hollywood A-list on FB. I doubt VA can afford it if Twilight couldn't. But some of the suggestions are good. Lacking people of Russian decent though. Hello all the characters origins are from there.

I definitely don't think they will get major actors to play the parts. I'm pretty sure it'll be up and coming actors. I had to stop going onto the fb page. idk a lot of ppl are irritating me on there. But yeah the Preger dude (hehe-sry I'm super tired so I'm a bit goofy right now and I couldnt resist lol) sounds like he will do his best to make the fans happy. I just hope he knows thats impossible. He can't make everyone happy. he should focus on making the movie the best it can be with lots and lots of input from Richelle. I trust Richelle so if she has any say so in anything then hopefully this movie will be good.

Preger seems to be dedicated to doing this the right way, which is of course great. Definitely the best thing to do is having Richelle to work with them, I agree.

They're trying to come up with a name for us on FB that sounds better than twilighters and twihards. Why must we label ourselves?

I agree. I really hope Richelle gets to have a say in how the movies turn out. I would hate to see too many changes made to the story or terrible casting choices made. I know that Stephenie Meyer managed to sign a contract that allowed her to have a lot of input on the Twilight films. Hopefully Richelle was able to get a similar deal because she's done a fantastic job with the books and I would hate to see the wonderful VA world Richelle created destroyed in the films. Vampire Academy is my absolute favorite book series so my expectations are going to be very high for the films. I hope they don't disappoint.

I think it's still far too early to tell if it's going to become another Twilight. People like to label everything now. Dumb names for the fandom is not exclusive to Twilight.

haha Tasha why is that? lol They say they are Some of those ppl are getting on my nerves. I don't go on it often. Occassionaly I'll reply to a question they ask the fans like the one they just asked about fav fight scenes in the series.

yeah , it's mostly the casting suggestions that are scaring me. If i seen Ben for Dimitri Or Megan Fox for Rose one more time i may just loose it. lol

Ben may look younger than Henry Cavill, but dude's almost 30 and can't even swing a sword around. Doubtful he could pull off playing Dimitri, who'd be a much more physically taxing role than the Narnia one he's done recently.
