| Hey lets spice things up a bit in here  WHY do you love the character you LOVE in Wicked Lovely?Irial: Irial spoke to me mostly after I read Radiant Shadows. I love Irial more than any other fictational character ever. I find him to be beautifully sexy both on the outside and inside. I love the loyalty Irial has for his fey, for leslie and especially for Niall. The fact that Irial would give up being a king for Niall was something that draws me to Irial. He is cruel and a bastard at times yes, and has done things that would make me so mad at him. But I love that he loves up to these faults, he doesn't back down. He owns up to them and doesn't apolgize. He is truthful and loving and kind. Niall: Niall intrigued me from the start. I love his past and the demons he has faced and how he has molded himself and become stronger because of it. His underlining vulerability shows that he is "human" he is gentle and kind but still strong and a fighter. His love for Leslie and Irial (though not allways shown with irial) is beautiful I can see his devotion to them. The Gabriel: Gabe, Gabe is funny I love him. He is also a total Bad A*s Donia: Donia I find to be the strongest of the females in WL ... the fact that she withheld Winter's Chill for all those years and still had the strength to defy Biera was astonishing. She is stronger by far than most, I love that she can put aside her love for Keenan to be a stronger Queen Beira: I loved her.She was interesting, like a cruel mother hen. I loved how she'd be so mean to keenan then bake him cookies. (i'll come bck with more after someone else post) | |

| Who I love from Wicked Lovely and why
Rabbit: I love Rabbit because he is caring to Ani and Tish and he raised them. He truly cared when Leslie said she wanted Irial's tattoo and he is altogether an amazing person and he would be even if he was human or a full fairy. That's why I love him.
Ani: I love Ani because she has the strength to stand up to even Irial, even if she doesn't know it. Ani has a stubborn way of doing things and she's determined so i see some of myself in her, and I love the fact that I see myself in certain characters. That's why I love Ani
Tish: I love Tish because she's a dependable person and would still be if she was human or a full fairy. She's the person you want to have when you need to talk because she listens. That's why i love Tish
Keenan: I love Keenan because he admitted that he loved Donia and not Aislinn and because he will do whatever it takes to keep the summer fey safe and I admire that. He believes in himself and Aislinn to be the King and Queen that their people needed. That's what I love about Keenan. | |

| Okay so I looe this series besides the vampire academy series:) I just think the books are incredible.I always thought faeries were these little nice cute things with wing:)But Melissa Marr paints them as they truly are.Of course their all gorgeous in their own way but I mean she just broguht a whole new meaning to faery books:)The characters are interesting and the plot was fantastic.I feel in love wiht these books and I recommend them to everyone:) | |

| I have no where else ot talk about this series so yeah. *Warning! Do NOT read unless you have read Darkest Mercy! - Spoiler:
WOW! What a great ending to the series imo. It was unexpected, surprising, and completely satisfying. To me anyway. I honestly thought Sethw oudl ending up killing Bananach and dying in the process to protect Ash and the others. Therefore causing Keenan and Ash to eventually be together. Never in a million years would I have thought that he would give his powers to Aislinn and give up the Summer Court! That was a HOLY COW WTF did he just do moment! I was in total shock. But as soon as Donia accepted him and he was tlaking about marriage and all I was all AWE!!!! It was SO sweet. I always wanted Ash to choose Keenana even though i didn't care for him and love Seth but b/c I thought it was the best thing for her court but I am SO happy that didn't happen! And when Aislinn stepped up as Queen after keenan left and she stood up to Quinn and all I felt like a Proud Mama! haha My love for her skyrocketed then. And when I found out about Irial! Wow. yeah. Glad he's back but idk how I feel about him being discord...But I'm happy Niall is okay. He really had me worried. And yay for Leslie being back evne though i never cared for her too much. I still don't understand why she hates Seth so much. I feel liek I must have missed something in Ink Exchange...The end! OMG! when Keenan gave his life for Donia! I cried. When she fell down from Bananach, I silently screamed! I thought she was going to die! but then Ash told Far Dorcha that and then Keenan gave up his powers and immortality to save her I cried even more. He truely proved hisself in my eyes. Not only do I respect him now, but I like him. I'm not sure what the epilogue really meant. IS he basically what Donia was at the beginning only hes the Winter Boy who serves her? Well and he's her consort. Whatever it is, I'm happy with the ending. Everyone mostly got their Happy Endings. The deaths though are heartbreaking. Tish, Irial (at first), Evan, Gabriel. Man my heart breaks for Ani and Rabbit. And for Chela. Gabe was her mate and I jsut can't imagine losing my hubby. I woudl have declared War too.
But yeah overall this was a great ending for the series.
as you can see I would never make it as a reviewer. I ramble too much lol

| I agree with everything Wilda said. it was one of the best books I read so far this year. It had me up late till 4am reading I was enthralled by every word in the story. Spoilers - Spoiler:

You're right. Discord does seem to fit him perfectly. And I have to say I have a thing for Tavish now too lol I'm rejoycing for the Summer Court. They are finally at their full strength thanks to Keenan. And I'm SO happy that Seth and Aislinn can be together. Like I said, everyone got their Happy Endings even fi they weren't in the way I thought it would be. I couldn't be happier with Darkest Mercy.

| I read Cotton Candy Skies as well. I need to re-read it since I read it while high on cold meds and a screwdriver
but from what I read it was a Cute story, sad but cute. It was not my favorite of the Short Stories. I prefered Stopping Time and old Habbits much more | |
