Its not because he is this great person, cause he isn't.... he has done terrible and basically unforgivable things. like allowing the Dark Court to torture and rape Niall. He almost killed Leslie and he Cursed Keenan... but while he did those things he didn't do them because he just felt like it or he was just cruel. He did it for the Good of his court, one thing I respect about him and Keenan (though I still don't always like him) is that they put their court first. A GOOD King does that, personal loves have to come last when you are a king. What I love is that Irial does not cry or moan or pity himself on what he has done... he did it, he cannot take it back. All he can do is prove to Niall that now his entire devotion and love is for him and that he will always be loyal to him.
