Yes they are. The vampires are fallen angels who were kicked out of heaven for following Lucifer. The ones who want redemption are Blue Bloods. Those that follow Lucifer, and kill Blue Bloods, are Silver Bloods. It has elements of Imprints from HoN plus the Biblical mythology of Michael and Gabriel(le).
There's a thread on it in the Library and two forums discussing it as mentioned above.
