What's everyone up to?

My weekend is going pretty well. My best friend had a birthday party yesterday and it was fun. 5 of us spent the night at her house. She has a dog and a cat and I am semi scared of her dog and allergic to her cat. One of her other friends picked up the cat and thought it would be funny to throw it and she threw it at me so now I have a 2 inch cat scratch on my left leg. I am pretty tired and my parents keep trying to convince me to nap but I was outside planting flowers. It's hot out there! I really want to read something though.

I'm allergic to cats too and when they scratch me it itches like crazy. You should definitely rest up today. Relax and read a book

My daughter is feeling much better. That reminds me I forgot to get alcohol for her ear. She can feel the water in it and its bugging her lol. My son isn't cranky-yet. He's a hppy baby right now cause he's home in his comfort zone where he can run and play. I'm being lazy right now. I need to cleana nd start the laundry but I just don't want to do anything except sleep. It's starting to catch up to me now.

Blah. My mom called me a little while ago with some bad news. Tigger my daughter's cat who was living with my mom got hit by a car and passed away today. I had to break the news to her and it felt like the hardest thing I ever had to do. She immediately broke down in tears which broke my heart Once she stopped crying she started asking questions I wasn't prepared for. She's only 6 so she doesn't understand anything and shouldn't have to understand yet. Life really sucks sometimes...

my weekend was good I had my birthday party with a few friends there was getting lost in the woods, hot tubing, and erm frequent runs to the store at 2 in the morning for pizza lots of fun

Oh Wilda, I'm so sorry for your daughter. You're right, kids that young shouldn't have to deal with that sort of loss.

Got locked out of the house for four hours today. Thank god I have nice neighbours to take me in. Really behind on work yet I'm still on here.

Have you guys watched a marching band at football games? And have you seen the person that stands in front of the band conducting? Well, I tried out for that.
People have been watching us and rating us and have kept placing me in the bottom. Well, today was try-outs and I am the field commander! I am in utter shock! I didn't expect to get it at all and next year I will have to be a leader of the band! I am almost sick to my stomach with shock. I wanted it my senior year but next year I will be a Junior and partially in charge of 100 people.

Thats awesome Kiera! Congrats!!! *Throws confetti* I've seen what they do. I've never been in band but I've watched practices and had friends that were in the band and dancers. GL Ms. Field Leader . I'm sure you'll do great

lol, nope. No summer plans here not yet. Winter plans all worked out though. Going to live with my sister for a month down south

I'm really excited for this summer! Only 13 days of school left! I'm going to Australia for 3 weeks and I get to see my cousin who's like my best friend but I only get to see her once a year....I'm hoping to get her hooked on Vampire Academy when she gets here

I forgot it's Winter there Kim. Do you get 2+months out for winter break like we do here for summer break? I bet your excited to go stay with your sister

I don't have plans yet. My son's bday is in July along with my mom's, bff, and mom-in-law. I might be going to NC for a week the week after school gets out but it's not definite. idk if I can handle being around my family and away from my hubby for a full week. Plus, I can only imagine how my son would do on an 8 hr tripand then be away from home for a week. He gets cranky being gone for an hr as it is.

It depends on what sort of schooling stage you're at. Primary and secondary (elementary + high school) get 2 weeks off every 9-11 weeks and then 6 weeks off over summer. Uni/college students get about a month in winter (though I get one and a half months because I don't have exams) and then between 3-4 months over summer.

Oh wow Kim that sounds like it'd be better than here. There are some schools that are yr round where they go 3 months out 3 weeks. Normal schools have a week for Thanksgiving, 2 weeks for Winter Break, 1 week for Spring Break, and about 2.5 months for Summer break. With a day or 2 here and there for other holidays and teacher work days. I'm not sure exactly how the colleges and universities do their breaks.

I'm so excited for this semester of school to end. Only 2 weeks left then finals week. I got so caught up in the hustle and bustle of school and my daddy being ill, I didn't even realized my birthday is fast approaching. I'm the type of person who usually celebrates their bday two weeks before and two weeks after. Lol.

I follow a couple of VA rpers on Twitter, but I've never really got into rp-ing myself. I can't bring myself to *be* another character...if I'm being creative like that I want to write/speak/be all the characters so the story can always go my way. I'm a bit of a story-hog...haha. well, I guess it's more wanting to always know where the story is going to go

Yeah, schools in different countries are sort of weird really. You guys go from summer-to-summer more often don't you? We're end of January-to-december.

Kiera thats great! I'm not in one of those, because we don't have one of them in my school. But I'm trying out for cheerleading, just waiting for the post to go up tomorrow morning to see if I got in!

My parents are going away, my older sisters going to New Zealand with her boyfriend. My younger siblings are going away with my cousins, aunt and uncle to Florida!
And my older brother is coming away with me and Shane. Well actually me and Shane are tagging along with my brother and his friends

Ok what did I do all weeked...?

Well Friday I chilled out with my fiancee and workedo n more wedding detail and started plannign my Super Sweet 16, which I'm paying for most of it, damn... But that all went well, the SSS part did anyway. Jeff and I got in a cake sample fight and well someone ended up with cake in their bra not to mention the amount of fucking icing it had within it. Jeff apologized only to get a hand full of mixed cake in his pweetty wittle face:D!

Saturday, sadly, my carpal tunnel flared back up and I went to watch my neighbors son from 6 'o clock at nigth to a little after 12:30. I made 60 dollars! Jeff was with me at the time, so he mainly just watched me do everything, he had something going on Sunday so I left him be. We went home and we both crashed on the couch, waking up to find it was Sunday... sadly...

Sunday I ended up being without Jeff b/c he had something to do with Dylan and Meghan (his siblins) and I went bowling with my friend. I won the 1st game, suprisingly:), and she won the second one. We ate and mocked the rude assholes at the counter. Then we got hit on my these two jackasses who thought it would be funny to, now we were wearing these strapless dresses (totally not us, we lost a bet), funny to lift the skirts up and try to rape us in the alley way by the bowling alley. I wasn't having that shit, so I kind of caused them to never be able to have kids or pee straight ever again. I found a pipe and wacked one guy square in between the legs, then my friend beat hers to death, go her!, and let me beat his balls to a pulp.

Monday we laughed our asses about it all! Fun weekend huh?

My weekend well...

Friday ~ I subbed all day. Had girl who had a seizure, scary as hell. Luckly I was working with a Teacher Assistent who knew what to do. When I got home I read Spirit Bound.

Saturday ~ I had to do the grocery shopping for my grandma. When I came home my dad told me our ferret had past away during the night (tear), then we got rid of her cage. This sent my parents in the redecorating mood so we went and got new rugs and paint for the walls. During all of this I managed to finish Spirit Bound, then I started Love Bites a Vampire Kisses Novel.

Sunday ~ I finished Love Bites and continued to read Kiss of Life.

Monday ~ I didn't have to work. I read more of Kiss of Life, worked on some laundry, and wrote some more for my book and printed out what I had dome already.

Today ~ I worked in a classroom and it was really hot. It's like mid 80's now a days. Then I came home and read more Kiss of Life. I know I'm a slow reader but I don't care. I like taking my time. If I rush I miss things. So now I'm chillin in my air conditioned room and listening to music and reading.

I wonder what tomorrow is going to be like. It's suppose too be like 88 degrees tomorrow. I HATE the heat.

88 degrees does sound pretty hot, except I think that's 88 F .... so I'd have to look up the Celcius equivalent...which is...... 31 C . Ok, yeah, pretty damn hot. Swimming weather really. I miss 31 degree days. They're a pest, but can be fun too.

I don't mind the heat... when I can stay home. But it's going to be 90 degrees today and i hate traveling when its hot. the buses and the trains are always like ten degrees hotter and if their packed .. ugh. And i have alot of running around to do.. going to see my dad before school. Thats one thing i dont like about NY... we had barely no spring or fall weather.. it goes from freaking freezing to freaking hot.

Thats how FL is. It's either cold or super hot. It's in the 90's here and the humidity makes it feel worse. You walk out the foor and start sweating immediately. Just a few months ago I was complaining about it being too cold now it's too hot lol. And this isn't even the hottest it'll get this summer. I dread July and August. The only time I really enjoy the heat is when I'm at the pool or the beach.

Thats cool that your younger siblings are coming to FL Chloe. I live near most of the attractions (well the disney, kissimmee, and Orlando ones) so we get a lot of tourist-most of which are from the UK area. Are you, Shane and your brother going anywhere or just hanging out at home without your parents? I never got so lucky. Everytime my mom went somewhere for more than a weekend, I had to stay with family or friends.

So today was torture. I drank like 2 1/2 bottles of water because it was so hot in the classroom. The good thing though was that the students had a double special, so I wrote the next chapter of my book. I actually just typed it up and I changed it, same concept but the events happened in a different way.

Now I'm about to dive back into Kiss of Life. I forgot it at home, so I couldn't read during my breaks.
