| Right now I am reading Shadowland. Alyson Noel's Immortals Series is strangely different because she does more spiritual type things. I wonder how many teenagers and young adults get into that. It doesn't seem like many would get into it and understand. | |

| I'm going to reread it in a few weeks when mom doesn't remember that I've already read it so she doesn't complain. | |

You know what Kim, everyone was feeling a little bummed out today. One of my friends went and deleted her facebook and hasn't been answering her phone. I know i certainly woke up on the wrong side of the bed. I was feeling down all day with a side of angry. So i made it a ME day. Took a nice long shower, did my hair and makeup and put on my favorite pj's. I invited my cousin over to have a drink with me but she stood me up. I set up since early afternoon, putting the juice in the fridge, refilled the ice trays and even put my bottle in the freezer. Which my momma saw and cussed me out. After she cussed me out she was like " Why the hell is that in the freezer! It's not weekend!" I was like " so it could get cold ma"...lol. So i had a drink by myself and watched a movie called "Precious", it's based on a book called Push. I'm going to watch another movie later , My sister's keeper. I didn't want to watch it until i read the book but eh, i'll read the book when i get a hold of it.

I didn't want to watch it until i read the book but eh, i'll read the book when i get a hold of it. I've been waiting weeks and weeks to see my best friend and her family before they went overseas. And that happened last night. The whole family came over at about 10pm, and we hung out, went to be at 12 and then woke up again at 5am to take them all the the airport. And now I feel sort of empty because I've had the idea of seeing them pulling me through the rest of the holidays and the excitement about seeing them is sort of wearing off. I rarely see them in the year so it was really good to catch up in person even for just a few hours. And I feel like crying, but that's all I'm going to mention because talking and typing just make it worse.

| Awww :hugs: I wish you could of had more time together. My childhood friends all moved away, i only see them once a year or once every other year. We just try to keep close via facebook and text messaging and phone calls and letters. Try not to think about the time apart , just the time spent. If you feel like crying, let it out. Crying is good for the soul. | |

| I have a lot of friends that live overseas. FB and texting doesn't have the same feel as actually being in their company. Spent the day doing volunteer work for my uni. I thought people were supposed to make it worthwile since its not paid. But no. | |

| yeah, ordinarily I text and call and facebook...but can't do that much when they're all over seas. Feel slightly better though because they made contact with me a few hours ago, so I know they're all alive I don't want to cry because then questions are asked and I can't deal with the "You're an adult now, stop being silly." speech...so I'm going to hold it in...for now. | |

| Oh I hate that speech. They act like just b/c your an adult now that you can't be sad and cry sometimes.
yesterday I was in a bad mood most of the day. My son was still sick and throwing up some and it started to get to me. I'm so sick adn tired of cleaning it up and washign blankets and clothes all b/c of it. So I decided to take a break while he was napping and read. I hadn't had the chance to read since the kids got sick last weekend so it helped me calm down and relax.
