| I know! I don't watch many scary movies because I'm weak and get WAY too scared...but when I do I think it's ridiculous they things they do...they're obviously idiots and no wonder the psycho killers go after them. | |

| haha yeah. i used to watch scary movies all the time even though i'd completely freak out. I'm a bit scared of the dark. yeah I know 24 and scared of the dark. I'd be one of those girl who would jump and scream at every little noise and movement or I'd be the one to freakin freeze instead of running. I enjoy watching some scary movies but anything paranormal etc I just can't handle. | |

| I don't get scared with scary movies really. Oh and i love when the killer is chasing the victim and they are running and falling and getting hurt meanwhile the killer is just doing a light stroll. heheheh
I just had a ditsy moment.. i was standing up from my computer desk.. and was speaking to my bf about to walk to exit the room ... when my phone vibrated on the computer desk. It scared the living daylights out of me i jumped on the bed and was like "WHAT WAS THAT!" ....lol

| hahaha Tasha lol
and yeah the whole falling down thing while the killer just strolls thats great. You know if I make fun of the mvoie while I'm watchign it I might just be able to laugh it off instead of freaking out lol. A friend of mine and I went and saw Step-Father when it came out and we are both chickens and although its not really a scary movie it does have a few jumpy moments but there were a coupel of gusy who thought they were comedians and kept us laughing throughout the movie. So yeah I think I will try it out.

| lol I actually very rarely go to the movies to see a scary movie. I'll just sit there and hackle the movie the whole time. Something about big screen makes it less scary for me. I have a better chance of being scared watching it from the comfort of my own home with all the dark creepy corners and weird noses an ol' house makes.
I actually had a fight with my bf a few months ago about the "bogeyman"...lol. I have this weird quirk when in bed i have to have my feet covered. So i started arguing with my bf and was like look i dont know why but everybody knows the bogeyman can't grab ur feet if they are covered. So he started arguing that our computer is RIGHT next to the bed so whats the difference, how come i'm not scared to sit on the computer chair when its dark but scared to lay on the bed with my feet exposed. I was like well DUH! Everyone knows the bogeyman doesn't reach OUT he just reaches up/ OVER.
Lol. | |

| I love scary movies!! I'm actually planning on seeing Shutter Island this weekend. Of course, I don't normally watch scary movies when it's dark and I'm all alone. But I do enjoy them. Especially the zombie kind. But I think I really am a chicken because as soon as the movie's over and I'm back at home and ready to go to bed... I start thinking about the scary movie and the what ifs. I get paranoid. Scary movies don't really scare me much anymore though ever since I saw The Grudge. That was the scariest movie I'd ever seen in my life. I didn't watch scary movies much before seeing that movie, so yeah, it was the scariest movie I ever saw. I used to think I was safe in my bed until that movie. Even now I sometimes am afraid of falling asleep with the light off because I think there's a little Asian boy standing in the corner next to my bed. The only scary movie I will NEVER watch is The Exorcist. I usually have a hard time watching the demon/religion kinds of scary movies. I *did* watch Paranormal Activity, and it actually didn't freak me out too bad. But there was this one part (depending on which version of PA it is) where they're watching a video on the internet of a girl going all demon in front of the camera. I don't like to watch things like that. But the movie wasn't bad. It wasn't great either. I think the best part was the ending I saw (there's more than one). - Spoiler:
Katie's friend comes into the house, finds Micah dead and calls the cops. Then the cops arrive and the demon leaves the girl's body but she's hysterical and still holding the knife and the cops shoot her dead.
I get freaked out sometimes in my house, though it doesn't happen often. The other night I was falling asleep and I thought I heard someone whisper my name in my ear. I'm still not sure if I imagined it or if I actually heard it. I was a bit freaked out I think, but again, I was half asleep. Also, I sleep on my stomach and sometimes I feel like something is pushing me into my bed. But I don't feel hands or anything touching me so it's probably just like a twitch or something (I hope). But it freaks me out when it happens because I'll just be falling asleep. And this morning I swear to god I heard someone walking around upstairs even though everyone except me was asleep. It kinda freaked me out, but then I figured it couldn't be anything bad because the dogs would've sensed it. I like to hear about people's stories, but I hope I never have to go through any of their experiences!! I think my mom's kind of psychic because sometimes she senses things. She's told me before that my grandmother who passed away six years ago visits every now and then. But I've never sensed anything and I hope to keep it that way.

| I love scary movies too! Ever since I was kid. I actually refused to watch the old scary movies that scared me as a kid ( Candy man, Pet Cemetery ) but i watched them last year and i was like "really?! I was scared of THIS all these years!" LOL I saw that version of PA activity too. The only part of the movie that scared me was - Spoiler:
when the door slammed... and the part with the shadow of the demon on the door
I actually very much enjoy the religion scary movies like the exorcist, I've seen all the adaptations. It doesn't scare me it's just creepy because i think that's more realistic then the scary movies with serial killers and stuff. LOL. I hope you keep it that way too. I used to be really sensitive to things. In high school i had this weird thing where i would just get this gut feeling that something bad happened. It was so intense i couldn't ignore it so i just went it. I called everyone i knew and sure enough i will come across someone i know where something bad happened or they were in a situation and was very upset. When I met my boyfriend, before we started dating and were just friends. He grew up with a really superstitious Spanish family, his grandmother practices Santeria. His old apartment, apartment he grew up in and has a history. Before i even knew about what happened in the apartment i knew. I walked it and i was like WHOA DUDE what the hell happened in this apartment? He was like you could tell just by walking in? We used to stay at a friend's apartment which i swear was haunted. I told my friends we shouldn't stay there the first day we arrived there. They wouldn't listen. So we had a weekend of no-sleep with incidents. The scariest was at one point everyone was so scared, i wasn't i don't know why i guess it didn't feel hostile in the apartment just different. We were all sitting in the living room around a lamp and we saw a shadow. With the blinds closed and all of us sitting there we were like WTH so looked up and saw a shadowy figure at the end of the hallway. The men jumped up and put the lights on and it was gone. Needless to say, we left the apartment. lol. At this time i used to have really bad sleep experiences, like nightmares but while awake and sleep paralysis. So his grandmother told me to put a glass of water under my bed. I've learned a long time ago not to question old women ,or women in general so i did and everything stopped. Dreams, experiences, encounters, sensitivity. The odd part was i forgot i had the glass of water under my bed. It must of been there for about year. When my boyfriend was moving i was like i think its long over due to clean under the end. I saw the glass and it was still filled with water. To the top. Like if i just put it there yesterday. Nothing evaporated. That creeped me out. lol.

| Wow. That apartment experience would have freaked me out for life. lol
I tend to stay clear of the old horror mvoies as well. Specially child's play. To this day I've never sat through it and won't. I've seen both Pet Cemetary movies. They gave me nightmares like all the scary movies do. I'm ok watchign them during the day but not at night. If I watch them right before bed or even think about them right before I fall asleep I'll have nightmares and wake up screaming. Not bloody murder screaming but a shriek lol.
I know a lot of people love the Final Destination movies but I don't. I've seen the first 2 or 3 and they scare me to death. Idk what it is but they do. My husband loves them and really wants to see the newest one but I refuse to lol.
My husband is out working again tonight and all this talk is going to keep me up all night lol.

| I like Pet Sematary, but I don't watch it when I'm alone. Not even during the day. I just can't. Especially the end. *shudder* The toddler freaks me out too bad. I've always wanted to see Poltergeist. I've seen the sequels, but they're pretty stupid. The second one is mostly eh. But the third one sucks. I like the Final Destination movies. The first one is the best, but the 3rd one is good too. The second one's geh. I haven't seen the new one yet. | |

| Poltergeist is freaky lol I've only seen th first one and that was when I was little which is probably why it was freaky to me lol
And I do have to admit the first Final Destination movie is good. I've seen it twice. I'm ok watchign them as long as I don't think too much about them. But I'm someone who alway soverthinks everything. I'm all about the what ifs lol
in other words i guess I freak myself out mroe than the movies actually do

| even when I'm reading I'm thinking at the same time...I sometimes find some random line that reminds me of something else and I'll think about the something else but keep reading at the same time and then I'll realise that I've missed something in the story and have to go backwards. | |

| hehe, i only do that with school related readings. even if it's English and it's a novel and it's interesting. I think i just have this rebellious urge in me and if i'm required to read it, i don't want too. I think i'm just stubborn and subconsciously clinging to little ways of rebellion since i no longer do the things i did in my past ( was an activist). Sigh... :reminiscent of the past:
I do however, can hardly listen to music with headphones. My mind wanders! Say, I'm traveling to school. 50 mins commute. I can listen to the same song the whole way there because i keep missing my favorite part because my mind wanders off. lol.

| I'm like that with school books too Tasha...there's something about being forced to read that makes you not want to read. When you've got a 350 page novel that you know you could finish in 2 days max. but can't seem to read 2 pages in 2 days you sort of yell at yourself and at the same time think "Woo! I'm beating the system!"
I do that with music sometimes too...only I usually give up trying to hear my favourite part once I've skipped it a few times already.

| I actually never read things for school if I can help it. Textbooks especially. I skim through them as much as I can because if I make myself sit down and try to read it, I won't pay any attention at all. And it usually takes me hours to read through text anyway because I'm a slow reader to begin with, but all of the technical language just makes it even more boring and I have to restart sentences a few times before I remember that I should be paying attention to the text and not thinking about whatever else I wish I could be doing. | |

| Mhmm, I force myself with textbook with technical language. I'll mostly read those stuff while in school. Not in the library or computer room. But one of the "sitting" areas with tables. Since, i'm alone without distractions I'll get most of done. Or I'll note take while reading. I put the attention into paraphrasing and writing it down with different colors of ink and it's easier that way. | |

| I'm the same way. If it's not something I'm completely interested in it will take me forever cause my mind wonders off to other things. I get that way with music sometimes too but I assume thats because my mind is always on overdrive. I live in my own little bubble msot of the time lol | |

| yikes! I will have to keep that in mind when the talk of moving to NY or anywhere up North comes up again. As clutzy as I am ice covered ground is sooooo not a good idea specially when I've already severely sprained my left ankle twice and fractured my right foot all in 10 yrs lol I can't blame you for staying inside. I would too. | |
