| So, i find I have been having "ditsy moments" more and more frequently since i'm on vacation from school. And they are entertaining. so, i figured I'll share with you lovely folks of Shadow Bite and ya'll can share yours too.
Today's ditsy moment of the day:
I was extremely hyper after drinking 3 cups of coffee back to back. But, i was hyper completely in mind. My thoughts were zig zagging and zooming. i was sitting on my bed and i grabbed the remote control, thinking it was my phone. I proceeded to press buttons thinking i was texting. lol.

| Still so embarrassed that happened. I can't go outside unless I beat feet to the car so that the neighbors don't see me. | |

| Well... I was backing out of my driveway and my neighbor (who's my age and was home for the holidays) was outside in his driveway playing with his basketball. I was driving my bro's car which is a mustang GT (yeah really loud engine). I was trying to straighten out because the car was going to the side... and instead of hitting the brake I pressed the gas and drove over the yard and into the street, hitting the curb on the opposite side. I somehow managed to hit the curb *again* before I got it together and drove off. But my neighbor saw the whole thing. I'm certain I looked like an absolute maniac!! I'm really not that bad a driver though. I swear. | |

| My ditsy moment of today:
I went to my brother's room to buy a pack of cigarettes. ( I know terrible gross habit, don't ever pick it up! And i'm of age atleast so don't worry) I put the pack in my sleeve, was wearing a pj set and the shirt was long sleeved. I went back to my room, and started sorting through paperwork and stuff for school, thinking the little slip in the shirt sleeve is handy since these pj's don't have pockets. The whole time though, i forgot it was my pack of cigs. So when i seen my phone on the bed i literally went aloud " so what the hell is in my sleeve?"

| It's funny, but I find I have more of these when I haven't been reading in a while. I think our brains go on vacation when we don't keep exercising them, you know? When you get stuck in the day-to-day routines our brains get board and veg out. | |

| Lol, i agree with you. But, for me, i have the most ditsy moments when I'm the most active -brain wise. Like when i'm in school, I go to college full time and I'm part of a bunch of groups, usually i'm running around all day doing work going to classes. When i come home i instantly try to get my hw out the way so i can get some sleep. As soon as i get home though, i'm like stuck on stupid. Lol. I zone out i say complete meaningless things. I think it's my brain telling me to give it a break. | |

| wow those are some great ditzy moments. I used to have 'em ALL the time but not so much anymore. Probably cause my mind doesn't run 100mph since I stared reading and keeping my head sane-well as sane as I can be. I'll be sure to post any moment I have. My friends used to call ditzy moments "Wilda moments" back in hs I have this icon that says brunette on the outside blonde on the inside. It fits me perfectly. Only I'm not dumb though I just have my moments lol ok I'm babbling I'm done talking now | |

| Lol i understand. In one of my classes i made friends with a bunch of people. I told them in the beginning of term I was accident prone. They witnessed me stumble on the curb , bump into walls, my books magically jumping off my desk , dropping my phone.. all countless times throughout the term. They still weren't convinced how accident prone i was. Until the last day of class, we just took our final and was in front our school chatting. In front my school there is one of those construction awnings and poles as support beams. I went to lean on one of the cross bars( the bar connecting the support beams) and found myself fall backwards. I swear to God a pole used to be there. But that day, there wasn't any. smh. the only good thing out of this is i hardly am the one sent to order food or carry food or drinks and things of that sort. lol.
My ditsy moment of the day:
So a few days my cousin dropped off a toy for my niece. He's son is 4. My niece is 7 but she is special needs, she has cerebral palsy. So while he's son outgrew the toy, my niece would still find usage out of it. The toy.. it's a giant dinosaur. You can sit on it. If it has batteries its electronic and can take steps and moves it's head and does a chewing motion. Well it's huge. So my parents put in our living room... behind the lazy boy chair. So i walked into the living today and went to ask my bf something who was sitting in the lazy boy chair... and out of the corner of my i saw the dinosaur...and i got scared. I flinched so hard and was like WHAT THE HELL IS THAT! Meanwhile my bf is shaking his head sadly at me.

| Lol so nonchalant about it Kim, i wish i could be that way.. i instantly freak out lol.
Not really a ditsy moment but it's a funny moment:
So, for the past week or so my elbows have been hurting me, as if i banged them very hard. It has had me very baffled since i haven't any recollection of banging them. Today i found out why they are hurting. Upon awakening from a very peaceful sleep my boyfriend tells me he know why my elbows hurt. Apparently when I'm sleeping, i form a chicken wing with my arm and proceed to elbow (very hard and vigorously) my boyfriend Omar. Roll over to my other side and do it again with the other arm. Lol. I wish he would of recorded that, who does that? Elbow a person in their sleep? Apparently i do and i think it's hilarious lol.

| lol Tasha. If I am fighting physically in my dreams then you can gaurentee that I am beating whoever is in bed next to me. it doesn't happen often but it does happen so I can understand. And I would have probably freaked about the dinosaur too. I've freaked out over walking into my daughter's room and seeing her giant bear sitting in the corner I freaked and ran out of the room with a yelp lol then it dawned on me what it was This isn't a ditzy moment but my son puked on me this morning and then peed on me thsi afternoon. I am scared to see what is coming for me tonight lol | |

| When we go camping, my sister elbows me in her sleep, but usually it's to tell me something. She talks in her sleep sometimes, and it's as though unconsciously she wants someone to know what she's saying. Since I'm a light sleeper and she isn't, I tend to wake up to it all.
I sometimes get scared of large objects like that, but I get more scared when things/people sneak up on me in an open room when I know they're there. We were playing pool (billiards, whatever you want to call it) at my friend's house in January. And we didn't have enough cues for everyone, so we were sharing, and my friend kept going to hand me the cue but I wouldn't notice, and then I'd turn around and jump like 10 feet in the air because standing right next to me was my friend and he'd have this stick pointing at me. I'm certain he enjoyed it more than I did.

| Lol Wilda! My bf talks in his sleep and it sounds like he's fighting.. yah he's a fighter in real life and i'm sooo scared i'm going to get rocked in the face one night. I just edge away slowly. lol
Lol, Kim i understand completely. I try to hide things like that from people I know and I've gotten really good at resisting the flinch when I'm surprised. But inside my head I'm screaming like crazy. My friends would purposely have a ball at my expense... and i don;'t blame them cause i do the same. One of my ex- friends.. he has a phobia of open cabinets. So every single time we are in an apartment i would go into the kitchen open all the cubbies and call him in the room and then watch him frantically slam and try to close them all. So evil, but so funny. Wish we still friends so i could do it again. lol.
Oh and I call it pool not bollards too.

| yeah, I call it pool too, but it's hard sometimes saying things to people in other countries, I never know if they're going to understand exactly what I'm saying. I know other countries call it pool too, but at the same time some areas/people might not...it was sort of safer typing in both.
lol! I never try and attack people phobias, because I'm afraid they'll attack me back.
