Frankly, if we're discussing pairings for Adrian, I support Adrian/Sydney all the way. Sydney has had disgust for vampires drilled into her, but Adrian goes for difficult women. Plus Sydney has had a lot of inner pain, since she had to give up her dreams for her duty, and thus she's not shallow and she's as well-grounded in her sense of self as Rose. (I seriously love the parallels between Rose and Sydney; they both have grown up in a society that makes out different groups of people to be Evil/Disgusting- Rose, the Strigoi/feeders; Sydney, the vampires/dhampirs- and they're slowly overcoming those prejudices.)

Besides, can you really see Adrian giving up on Sydney if she rebuffs him out of disgust? Rose did the same thing, and he's still sticking around. He wore Rose down, he can totally do the same to Sydney.

Besides, they'd be adorable together. And they would be a totally unconventional couple: the human and the royal Moroi.

Even though Adrian has casually dismissed the Alchemists as religious fanatics, I really don't think that he's that prejudiced against them. Adrian doesn't have many set-in-stone beliefs (e.g. he has no opinion about Moroi fighting with guardians), and I figure it would be easy for him to set his preconceived ideas of Alchemists aside.

Plus, Sydney was extraneous to the story; there were other ways for Rose to get to Baia and Dimitri's family. The effort that Richelle put into building her character makes me think that Sydney will be coming back as a big character in the next two books.

I think that Rose will graduate but Dimitri will keep sending her notes. Also when they try to break out Victor, Christian will come along and as they continue on him and Lissa will reconnect. Also I dont know if anything too big will happen with Dimitiri, if it does it will happen at the end of the book but something will happen where he goes away or something like that and it will be a cliffhanger. I dont think anything will happen until the last book. A lot of the theories I've seen on other sites for this book is that Dimitri will be turned back which might not happen at all. It seems to me that some people forget that there are two books left which leaves a lot of room for things to happen. Either way I'm excited!!

you bring a good point i know a few people have said they don't think anything will really happen till the sixth book... *sigh* for SB then.

Did you guys hear or watch Richelle read that exerpt during the Dolly Reporter thingie? It's on YouTube... It says she gets her fortune reread to her. I forget what it says now but I think it was something about death. Oh and I am positive that Rose graduates because before she revisits Rhonda, she gets kicked out of Court for calling Tatiana some bad word...

Um hm my theories for spirit bound. (since rose went on a *Mission*) i've thought about this if you have read the first chapter of spitit bound which is out. I think it would be intresting for R&A to have a shot together i obsiovloy don't think it will work out but it would be nice to see. i think that all of the main characters will go and try to bail victor out and he would either turn on them or help them. That's all i got so far.
