| Since only Dancer and i are the only ones who'd get what i mean when i had to ask if Zoey Redbird's Anita Blake-Lite or something, lately, i decided to do a thread that is dedicated to Anita Blake's world.
Discuss Anita Blake and her allies, here, alright?

| I have only read the first book of Anita Blake's Series. That book is "Guilty Pleasures" for those not in the know. I fully intend to rent more from the library, but I would like to read them in order.
Her allies so far are whom? Hmm...There's Jean-Claude. I'm intrigued by him. Then there's that other Vampire Hunter guy, I already forgot his name. I'm not really sure we can fully trust him. He seems the type to abandon friendship in favour of the almighty dollar. That's all I've got so far.
Have you read these books, Tony?

| Not yet, but i'm starting to see whom Zoey Redbird picked up some of her bad habits from, if you know what i mean.
In any rate, i did meet a few people who read more than just book 01 of the series, though.

| So in any case, is all that mating really necessary, even for Vampires, Mandy? | |

| I recently finished the second book, "The Laughing Corpse". That book really took me for a ride near the end! Don't worry, no spoilers here. I have a copy of LKH's 15th book (I think it's the 15th). I got it in hardcover for $1.99!! I couldn't turn that down! But I have other books "in line" before I read that one. Plus, I may try to get at least book 3 from the library before reading it. I have it on advice of a friend that the series is such that it doesn't really matter if you read them out of order. | |

Great...it would be less bad, if it turned out she was just mating with only two people, but more than that? >_> If i liked the sound of that, then i would have found the Moroi Royalty's near-fatal case of stupidity to be so entertaining, it protects Vampire Academy's first novel from cases of juvenility, instead of doing the exact opposite. At least the novels get somewhat better, but the stupidity of the general royalty is getting out of hand! When will Dimitri kill off most of the leaders of the royalty, so Rose and company could help the remaining families clean up the rest of the mess that fate should be sorting out?

I'm seeing that now. I started reading the 15th book, just because I have it. And I feel somewhat lost. The relationships are also more advanced than I have read in the first two books. I agree with you Mandy about Jean-Claude. He sounds hot. Well, if he got a haircut he would be.
