| Hollywood rarely gives novels justice, they have to change and shape things to their own liking or budget (scripts are written completely differently than novels), the end result leaving you with a sour feeling. To me they should stay two separate entities. Books are designed to create imagination, the majority of movies you just sit back and watch (no thinking involved). I'd hate to see that sort of greed contaminate this wonderful series. | |

| god thank you amen von dimitri cute name by the way. yeah these are very special books they are meant to be books and only that never anything more. part of books is imagination your right, why take away from all of us fans and give movies/status to those little tweenie bopper posers who A. No nothing about the series and just care about that really hot Russian dude and B.Never give the series the time of day to read. oh and 3. They know nothing about the series when they do see the movies they dont know the deot and caring compassion all the characters have. and to close my arguement they need to stay books there are to many as it is and if they get hollywood touched they will turn it into a tv series its a theroy but it may be true. and to rap up my ranting, no movies, no tv, no nothing part of loving a series is to learn to live with the fact that some print can come off the paper. Thank you for taking the time to read my rant and VA Represents! | |

If i had to admit, i'm not one of those phonies when it comes to novels, as i certainly happen to be very fond of the Percy Jackson And The Olympians novels, since as far as the story and plot are concerned, i'd put them on par with The Dark Is Rising novels, By Susan Cooper, and the Harry Potter Novels, by J.K.R, for that matter, which wasn't the case with the twilight series, really. Too bad that i'm scared to overread P.J.A.T.O, or else the novels would lose their effect on me.[That much in common they share in common with T.D.I.R and the Potter-World, really!] Wait...you didn't mean me or my family, do you?

P.J.A.T.O and T.D.I.R?
huh wait tony slow down im blonde litterally color and slowness applied what about you and your family? My family had read the Potter-World novels, together, if it helps. P.J.A.T.O and T.D.I.R are the initials for Percy Jackson And The Olympians And The Dark Is Rising, respectively. That said, as much as i can stand The Vampire's Assistant, i wished Del Toro was the guy who directed the movie, instead.

| A V.A. movie or TV series isn't such a bad idea. However, it depends if it lives up to the book. If it does, then good... but if not and it ruined the whole story, then maybe no.
I also worry about movie/TV adaptations causing people to watch instead of reading the real thing...my opinion only though.

Neither screwed over Fan-base-wise or Story-And-Plot-wise, right? The Seeker:The Dark Is Rising managed to be even worse than most of the Post-Columbus Harry Potter movies[maybe except for 3 and 6, yet even they struggled to keep enough of the important stuff in.4 was alright, although they should do away with most of the sleeze!]as even the Screen-Writer hated the original The Dark Is Rising Novels, and i don't want 'The Lightning Thief' movie to get the P.J.A.T.O series to suffer the same fate or worse!

| Just remember to not do anything that's stupid enough to anger me[E.G mistaking Lissa for a Slut, when Lissa, herself, is no slut, unlike Book 01 Mia and the likes of that ungrateful Avery, that is!] and we'll do fine.
So do you also do Yuri Role-Plays?

nope but you can teach me! Thanks, Rosa. As for Yuri Role-Plays, have you read any Yuri[Girl/Girl] Pairings, yet, Rosa?It helps if you read some of them, as i tend to role-play with using Bi-sexual females. Can we talk more about the process, in P.Ms?
