Lol go for it. I love seeing how everyone has such awesome signatures and avatars. I have to admit though when people change their avatars i get sooooo confused. I guess i just get used to seeing a username and one pic together that when the pic changes i get thrown off. I shouldn't complain though, i don't use avatars or signatures at all. Lol.

Well then according to your statement I am disgusting then. I met my husband of almost 10 years when I was 17 and he was 21. Yeah yeah statutory rape right? Well I got hurt by kids my same age more than I did by my 4 years older than me husband. Which brings me to the point that many younger people date older people because maybe they are more mature and can offer a bit more. Not everyone is looking for the same things in men. Some girls want to have fun with no commitment and others do want commitment you can just judge situations like Roses like that. 4, 5, 6 years is nothing now if you see a 60 year old with a 15 year old then yeah freak out.

Even though Rose is tough and had to grow up faster than others doesn't mean that there isn't a part of her that longs for protection and Dimitri gave her that. He was confident that she could protect herself but at the same time he was there protecting her if she needed it.

Anywho at 17 I must have known what love was. I mean come on, would a marriage last 10 years with your enfatuation?

ah 10 years? that so romantic. and to me age is just a number. the person they are and whats inside their soul is what i look for. Im in love but im not going to marry the guy. and yes speaking from experience i went out with a 25 year old and yes my age says 15. Rape no, but he loved me and i loved him and he never pushed for sex up until i left that area. so i left him and well that was the end of that. i love him now as a friend now and only that. but he insists we get back together.

I love that about them! i love Dimitri's protective yet soft loving nature. And Rose reminds me of myself strong, confident, lost, powerful, reckless, crazy (sometimes), and just needs guidence.

Maybe. it all depends on who you to are and that your love is stronger than the obstacles you face.

yeah, before my current fiance when i was in H.S. I dated a guy 5 yrs. older than me we were together for 6 years. My school was a pain in the ass when it came to him coming to my prom, my parents had to yell at the asst. principal before they okayed it. I was 17 and he was 22, that's why they had a problems with it.

I feel like i have to defend myself cause that's a quote for me. If you read the rest of my response to which that quote is attached you would see i gave a specific incident of when i think age is a big deal. ( i gave the example of my friend who started dating at 16 a guy who was 28 years old.. but they were talking since she was 14. That kind if situation i'm effy about. Plus in my highschool i saw way to many 14 years olds duked by 30 year old men into losing their virginity to em and then tossed aside). I'm just saying SOME younger kids don't know the different between love and infatuation.I'm not generalizing. I'm just saying in my experience. But other than that incident i could care less about age. I date older. Age really can be just a number. Especially when considering maturity factors. In fact my whole response was DEFENDING mixed age relationships , especially that in VA. I certainly had to mature faster than my time due to life circumstance and i could not even date my own age because there was no relativity. My boyfriend now, we've been together a short time.. 2 years and a few months, but he is only 3 years older then. We are only able to date because well he's jsut as damaged as me. We both had to mature faster than our time. I feel love is blind. You can't control who you love. I'm not anal about age in relationships only with young ones who maybe just a bit naive. Maybe, it's just my protective nature. I hate to see people get hurt-girls or boys.

yeah i understand. i mean from what i told you about that stupid relationship i was in, i hated being with him after maybe a couple of months but i was afraid that if i left him he would either, rape me, fail me, or hurt me more than emotionally. I cant believe, now that i look back on the situation, that i loved him and pretneded to love him. there was no trust. im actually glad im with someone who is only a year and 5 motnhs older than me. we both had to grow up and be mature for personal reasons. Both our dads were in thee navy (mine) and his was in the army and he lost him a couple of years ago. So when our dads were gone we had to step up and be the second parent to help our moms and we both have younger syblings. I have two younger ones sisters, and he has three and the most recent addition who is two years old is Maria she was born the day after Jeff's dad was killed. so its hard being the mom around here when she isnt here. and thas why i picked Jeff we have a lot in common but we have totaly different personalities. they do say opposites attract.

I don't really like the cover of Spirit Bound. The model looks too old to be Rose.
