I don't think she's trying to be cruel exactly, just interesting. If Rose and Dimitri had come together too quickly, then there would be less excitement. People would find the series average in the area of romance because they would be nothing to build from. It's the same thing with lissa and christian. I wasn't all that surprised that they split up slightly because they can't be together and loving the entire series, they get boring that way.
While I will be upset if both couples don't get back together, right now if just gives the plot more development.

I think the 6 books will be long enough. There's only so much you can drag out from the one story. And at least we'll have the spin-off series eventually.

i just really cant wait, bloodpromise was alright, but like the climax started to kick in when dimitri appeared.. but i just hope this one turns out really awesome! study

well if it's Dimitri I will be happy, but if it's Adrian, then I'll be even happier. The book is bound to be amazing regardless of who's on the cover, especially since it's going to be like the last book, with a lot of time outside of the school. YAY!

There isn't anything in the background for this one. The first three had scenary in the background related to the plot.

Do you mean the first 3 of the old covers? Because the new ones kind of cut out the background, making the SB cover fit in really...no background picture needed

I't looks like Adrian.
Dimitri on the other books, primarily Vampire Academy and Shadow Kiss, looks way different than the guy on this cover.

There's no guy on the cover of Vampire Academy. If you're thinking about the Frostbite cover, on the old cover if he didn't have red eyes he would have been Christian, and now on the new one since he doesn't have red eyes he probably is Christian. And since the covers changed I don't think it matters that the Dimitris may look different.

Although, I know you really like Rose and Adrian together, so I can understand why you want it to be them Smile

on the spirit bound cover it is dimitri after he has been healed a friend of mine went to her book signings and i think she said she overheard richelle or some one else say it was dimitri

im sure it is dimitri cuz it kinda gives it away when rose finds out there is a way to change him back and then he sends her the letter saying that he isnt dead and that hes going to see her soon... Smile

Until RM officially announces something I don't think we can rely on overheard conversations much.
