| Since we only really got to know one, and a little at that, I lump them together.
Did anyone feel bad for them? I mean, they're endorphin-junkies. They have left their lives behind completely to be bitten again and again. Unlike the street junkies, they're well cared after. But the flashbacks to the party where Lissa went nuts shows that many of the Moroi feel that Feeders are disposable animals and would pretty much use them however they could.
Alice, however, is interesting. She seems to "know" things. She predicted the weakness in the shield even when no one else would believe it.

| I feel bad for them.
What they have to go through with some of the stuck-up Moroi.
Even if they enjoy the thrill of the vampie/moroi bite.
Alice is different. I thought that she was crazy, but she made sense with the shields and wards.

| I also feel bad for them. They don't have any of the rehab facilities that those addicted to drugs have. I wonder how they get new feeders. It seems like a death sentence. Is there possibly some sinister way they acquire them, knowing that humans will not be able to say no again... | |

| I hope Richelle develops Alice's story. It was quite interesting, bizarre actually, and it would be a shame to leave it without further explanations. | |

| I do feel bad for them. They're hooked in. It's not like your usual junkie who buys crap. I mean how do regular humans know who is a Moroi and who isn't? It's not like they can approach some random person and say, "Could you bite me and drink my blood?" I know they give willingly, but still. And like jedi said, some of the Moroi treat them as disposable and as animals. It's degrading.
I also would like to see Alice developed more. She's interesting. She's nutty, but knows stuff. She only expresses it in riddles.

| I would also like to see if that group could fight their way out of a paper bag, for that matter, if it helps. | |

I agree. I adored Alice and was really sad we haven't seen more of her yet. Maybe i was just reading into the books too much but i thought Alice "knowing" stuff holds some sort of significance but what that is i just don't know what yet. In BP Rose said she is staying at the Academy until graduation so maybe we will get the chance to revisit Alice. I really hope her story evolves-its so interesting and has me so curious.

| A few weeks ago I was wondering (Kim, you may remember this discussion) whether Moroi children use feeders? I'm talking like age 10 and younger. Because I'm certain young Moroi must feed just like we know older Moroi do. I dunno about the rest of you, but I think young children drinking from old saliva addicted feeders would be a bit... strange. And wrong. Also, how do you think Moroi infants feed? Are blood bottles made for them? One more thing. We know that Rose and Lissa met in kindergarten. But wouldn't it have made more sense to have the dhampir and Moroi children separate in case a thirsty Moroi got the idea that classmate=snack? Unless the schools utilize juicebox blood boxes or something. With straws. What do you think? Discuss. | |

| Somehow, it's hard to determine how the young Moroi would have drank blood, at the time[i'm just hoping they don't get raised like the general population into going degenerative via means of considering their Dhampir relatives to be blood-whores and such, that's all!] but if it helps, perhaps they may have had a teenage feeder to take care of them, or they may have drank from a blood bottle. | |

That's was my thought since i read children. I feel, the children probably drink bottled blood until they are old enough to know how much is too much and those such things. And since it's probably their regular diet especially at an academy they never really experiences the lack of blood and the blood lust so it's probably safe to mingle.

| What did you think of the old feeders who are "retired" and go kicking and screaming. Did it sound like the Moroi took care of the retired feeders? Or do you think they're mind wiped and tossed out addicted to a drug that's not found on the street? | |
