| Okay Maybe not, Let's try New York but RoseWood is the town in my favorite book series Pretty Little Liars, hence my screen name. Well I'm kind of new to the Vampire Stories and I didn't enjoy Twilight at all but Vampire Acdemy got me hooked. I started reading the books about a month ago and got caught up with all them and I'm currently waiting for my pre-ordered copy! I really love the series and sadly my friends aren't into Vampire Stories so I thought it would be good to create an account on here to share my opinions and thoughts on the best Vamp Series out!!! I hope I can meet some new people and maybe make a friend or two on here. Till than... Happy Vamp Readings everyone. | |

| Welcome, PrettyLittleLiar! I'm in the same position as you, with the friends not liking the books, but most of them its because their twihards, and refuse to acknowledge the fact that there are other books out there. I like VA much better than twilight, but they never listen to me. Hope to chat soon! | |

LOL, I know. It bugs me how so many people like Twilight and refuse to see/read other Vampire Books. Vampire Academy is so much better than Twilight. I think Twilight is okay but it's not some Harry Potter book. It's just all overrated, I like to read the books no one else reads and not follow the media and most popular book. Some of the greatest ones are unknown to the mainstream media.public. Same here!!

| Yah. I loved twilight at first, and like all the other brainwashed twihards, I thought Edward Cullen was the greatest thing on the planet. Not to say I don't still like it, I do, but its way too fairy tale. I mean, no one good even gets killed! There's not even a real battle scene! I like with VA that it shows that life can be cruel, and its unfair. It shows how life really is, as opposed to magically having a vampire stalker for a husband that seems totally hot, and nothing bad ever happens to you because he doesn't let anything happen. I think to learn in life, you have to except the fact that it isnt perfect, and bad stuff is gonna happen, and you can't change that. You have to take risks, or you'll never learn anything, and you'll wind up locking yourself in your house like that author woman from Nim's Island. | |

That's what I said! Twilight is good but it's a little to G -rated for me. Nothing good ever happens, theres hardly any action. I know! I like Vampire Academy because i seems to make more sense to me. Twilight really seems so ake. Though they are both Fake, Vampire Acdemy makes it so much "realer" like this could really be happening. There is also most complicated stuff and more terms/ other things involved in the Vampire World. Twilight seems very simple to me. I read the first book and put it down, I couldn't go on reading the rest because I instantly got bored with the Bella dn Edward thing. I like Edward but Jacob is a little better to me. Totally, Twilight is so perfect in a way. I was hoping Bella would have got caught or atleast seriousl damaged in the first book. but she managed to come out pretty good. Better than what I wanted. I really would like for one of Edwards Family Memebers to die or have some type of enemies such as the VA Books has the Strigois. I don't think it will happen! EVER!

Vampire Academy, at least, has remotely justifiable Plot-Armor, while twilight, on the other hand...they never even bothered to state why Strigoni Benefici Vampires are capable of thriving in sunlight, without even hinting at evolution, for that matter. That's why twilight ripped-off Cirque Du Freak and Vampire Academy, in that order. >_>
