It's that time of year again! We have less than a month before 2011 ends and 2012 begins. List your Fav 2011 reads here and just to add something extra, list the books you are most looking forward to in 2012.

You had to ask a difficult question, didn't you Wilda? Razz There have been so many good books this year...I'm going to try and limitmyself to top ten (in a random order, because I have no idea which ones I loved more than the others)

They're all from 2011 (released in 2011 at least), but I've read more this year from some of the books in a series which weren't published in 2011...others I read the entire series, but the last book read was a 2011 read and that's why they're on the list.

1. Forsaken - Jana Oliver
2. Emblaze - Jessica Shirvington (I know it's book 3 and I read all 3 this year, but Emblaze was AMAZING!)
3. ShadowFever - Karen Marie Moning (Best ending to the Fever series EVER...and it turns out it's not actually the end *dances*)
4. Blood Bound - Rachel Vincent (I've read all RV's books this year, but I think I liked this one the best and it's a 2011 release Razz)
5. Bloodlines - Richelle Mead (of course)
6. Magic Slays - Ilona Andrews (because it was a 2011 release, but the entire Kate Daniels series is awesome)
7. Shift - Jeri Smith-Ready
8. This side of the Grave - Jeaniene Frost (and all the other Night Huntress books)
8. Unearthly - Cynthia Hand
9. Divergent - Veronica Roth
10. The Shadow Reader - Sandy Williams
11. Last Breath - Rachel Caine (best Morganville book ever!)

...ok I lied, but top 12 is pretty close to top 10

Books I'm looking forward to most in 2012: mostly the books that follow those above, but the ones I desperately want are...
1. Hallowed - Cynthia Hand
2. Forgiven - Jana Oliver
3. Shine - Jeri Smith-Ready
4. Shadow Bound - Rachel Vincent
5. The Golden Lily - Richelle Mead
6. Endless - Jessica Shirvington
7. Gunmetal Magic - Ilona Andrews

I really enjoyed it. I avoided it for a while and only read it because a couple of friends told me I HAD to. I'm really glad I did...dying to see what happens next.
I keep seeing The Lost Saint everywhere, it was good?

The Lost Saint is REALLY good.

I didn't post mine earlier because I had to go off and think about it lol

Fav 2011 reads:

Bloodlines
Divergent
City of Fallen Angels
Sterling-Dannika Dark
Pale Demon
Shift
If I Die
The Soul Thief
Archangel's Consort
Blood Bound
One grave At A Time
Starcrossed
The Shadow Reader
Touch of Frost

I could go on and on and on. There are a few books I haven't read yet that I'm sure will make the list as well.

Books I look forward to most in 2012:
The Golden Lily
Forgiven
Insurgent
A Perfect Blood
Before I Wake
Dreamless
Shine
City of Lost Souls
Clockwork Princess
The Shattered Dark (The Shadow Reader 2)
Bloodrose

I have a #10!! I didn't think I'd manage to read anymore books this year but I started Daughter of Smoke & Bone this morning and finished mere seconds ago. FANTASTIC book. It definitely goes among my other 2011 Faves, and well... FAVES in general.
