Succubus Series AKA Georgina's series

I'm not exactly sad for her when it came to the affair with her husband's friend. He didn't exactly force her to have sex. And she did it with him many times. It wasn't like it was just the one mistake. Sure, her marriage wasn't super-hot in the romance/sex dept. but on the other hand, having an affair isn't the way to fix it. Did I think she was purely evil for doing it? No, not really. And her way of making amends was when she did the contract with Niphon was to have hubby and basically her whole family and social circle forget she ever existed. That's kind of sad, that she felt she needed to go to that kind of extreme.

She still love her hubby and she kinda hoped things would get better ......I know that cheating like she did , is not right.... she should had ended things with her hubby , but then again I don't think that back in those days they believe in divorce....

No...back then in ancient times, there wasn't really such a thing as divorce. I think the concept kinda got started, or at least 'popular' with Henry VIII. And I'm sure in many faiths divorce is a big no-no. I can speak for Catholicism. Divorce is not sanctioned by the Church. If you do divorce, you are not allowed to re-marry, at least not in the Church. It's considered adultery. However, if the marriage is proven to be fraudulent or another reason as outlined by the Church, it can be annulled. Which means the church declares that due to some impediment, that the marriage never existed. In that case, the persons CAN remarry. But I digress.

In Georgie's times, I wonder how they were married. Did they have Churches or anything? That would be interesting to find out! I think too, that she chose the way of making the deal to spare her own and to some extent his family the shame of a marital breakup. I mean, think about it...it looks bad on her family because it looks like they raised a whore. And it looks bad on him/his family because it looks like he couldn't do what it takes...if you get my meaning. And in a way, it was true because he didn't y'know with her very much...and as such, they never had a kid. Having kids was (and still is) important. Especially then. Basically, what you would be doing is breeding a workforce for your farm or fishing business.

yeah but georgina had the option of having everyone forget about the affair and going back to her normal life with her husband. The only downside was she would still know what she did. So in a sort of selfish way she asked for niphon to make it like she never existed and was never born. He said he could do it but a deal like that was more serious and would require something big on her part.(payment) which is why she became a succubus.

I'll take your word for it Jill. I don't recall the 'forgetting the affair and going back to normal life" deal. I read these books so fast. What would she have had to do in exchange for this 'first' deal? Would she have just gone to hell when she died?

In the sense that Rose and Dimitri were meant to be together but you still really want Adrian to end up with her.

Roman was like that for Georgina even though you know her and Seth are meant to be together. I kind of want to see Roman and georgina together because they were really good together before everything got so screwed up. He was fun and sexy. I just don't picture Seth as Sexy. Roman and Georgina would make the ultimate Sexy couple. And if Seth some how does go through with the wedding then I'm all for Georgina and Roman working things out.

NOOOOO!!!!! No! Seth can't go through with a wedding to that fat cow Maddie! NO!!! She's all wrong for him! She must be eliminated!!! Georgie and Seth are meant to be. I also still don't really grasp the attraction to Roman. Other than him being a great dancer. Maybe it's because I come from a different life-experience that I don't like him. The fact that he was going to KILL Georgina, was a big big turn off. That and he became kind of stalkerish. I'm sorry, I can't find that admirable at all.

Are you crazy?!? LOL! Yes they DO belong together! There has to be a way to work it out! If Seth ends up going to hell, so be it! Who cares? Maybe he can become an imp? And Georgie can have a relationship with him like that Kristen did with her boss Cedric. *hopeful smile* OR...something is discovered with Georgie's contract and she's released and turned back to human and then she and Seth can marry and even have children as in fulfillment of Nyx's dream prediction thingy.

I knew Roman was going to be the Nephilim! I was just sensing it when Georgina couldn't contact him. Roman and Georgina are my favourites so far, but of course that could change since it's only book one. I'm so happy Roman got away, but now he'll be all angry and want revenge...not cool! Obviously Seth is the another potential love interest for Georgina, but I don't feel it as much at the moment. I don't see that it's possible for them to develop a relationship deeper than conversation (and therefore friendship) at least not with him being human, though I doubt he'd have a reason to sell his soul (unless for Georgina). I doubt he'd be very happy with Georgina going around sleeping with a whole bunch of other men while they're supposedly "dating", especially considering he can't exactly have sex with her without being damned.

Wasn't Roman the sexiest? I loved when he took her salsa dancing. They were so cute together in the beginning. The end kinda sucked, their timing was off. I wish he would have told her that he'd give up everything for her before she made that phone call. Were you surprised at who his sister was?

I was...and I didnt care that Jerome and Carter killed her , but I was kinda sad for Roman....since she was the only family he had....poor hottie!. I still want him with Georgie!! . I love when he shows upat her place with the lucky charms! that was sooo cute , then when he said " Obviously! . I'd bring Count Chocula for that . " That was just too cute . Is one of my fave quotes from him!

Personally, I always thought Roman was kind of creepy. I mean... he doesn't give up easily does he? lol But whatever. I guess some people think that's charming. I'm not particularly thrilled with any of the men at the moment actually. Though I find that I'm enjoying Roman's character a little more ever since reading SH.

The dancing is basically the ONLY thing I really liked about Roman.

THANK YOU! I thought Roman had turned into a bit of a stalker with his constant notes and stuff. I agree with not being thrilled with any of the guys. At the end of SH, I wanted to kick Seth in the nads. And I suppose Roman did sorta kinda redeem himself a little at the end of SH.

I guess...but Jerome dont like him any more that Roman like Jerome....I loved the end of SH is sooooo wiked! ......and I know that Roman is going to play a mayor part in Succubus Shadows .

Yeah I agree Roman is going to have a big part in SS. But I guess we have to wait until April to figure out his role. So so far away. I'm counting down the days till BP and maybe if I only read five pages a day it will hold me over until SS comes out. Then again self control isn't exactly my strong suit. I just hope Seth gets his head out of his ass soon, especially before he accidentally knocks up Maddie or something stupid. Roman should seduce Maddie then her soul would belong to hell, and Seth will leave her. Then he and Georgina could break her contract and live a righteous life while Maddie suffers.

LOL @ reading only 5 pages a day! In one way, it's bad to say this, but I would feel compelled to gobble the new books up just so I won't be subjected to any spoilers on the messageboards. You know how it is. There's always at least one person who stays up all day and night to finish a book and then starts blabbing about it. I don't want to know until I have finished the book. OR...at least be on the same page as others and discuss it 'thus far'.

Roman will TOTALLY have a big part in Succubus Shadows. For right now he's living with Georgina for crying out loud! And you're 100% right about Seth needing to get his head out of his ass. I don't think it should be Roman to seduce her. For a start, I don't think her soul would become the property of Hell if he did. But if Sebastien were to seduce her, THEN she'd be going to hell! Plus, I think their relationship will be busted up because I can absolutely see Maddie finding Georgie's sexy porno photos. I doubt Seth can lie. Maybe he can? That would only blacken his soul more.

I'm all about Maddie suffering. Or just being gotten rid of. I hate that character! As for Georgie's contract being broken...IF that happens, it will likely be in the last book.

No , I don't care what you said I WANT ROMAN WITH GEORGIE!!!! Seth is too fucking boring . Unless he dies and goes to hell then he can be with Georgie . Maddies needs to die . Why would Roman get with Maddie? That makes absolutely NO sense. Like a nephilim would give a rats ass about some chubby Asian girl? lolz And Bastien only wants to get into Georgie's pants, so he probably wouldn't want anything to do with Maddie. But even if she slept with him, her soul wouldn't "automatically" belong to Hell. She'd probably die since she's such a goody two shoes, just like Seth would die if he slept with Georgina. Yeah, she steals souls, but she doesn't sleep with him because she doesn't want to hurt him.

Anyway, are we even going to see Bastien again?

I can't see Georgina with anyone other than Seth, even if he is a complete douche. But I agree about Maddie needing to die. lol She's too fucking annoying. And I'm still really looking forwad to when Maddie finds Georgina's sexy pictures somewhere in Seth's belongings.
