JK Rowling Announcement

I noticed on facebook that JK Rowling's going to be making an announcement about something soon. I figure it's going to be something big (possibly a new book/series? What do you guys think?), otherwise they wouldn't have made a countdown.

OH MY GOODNESS!!! I just got really realllly excited! I hopeeee its a new series in the harry potter world! I miss Hogwarts!

ooo, interesting. I wonder what it could be. I hope it's another series, more book, a PREQUEL! (James Potter and Sirius Black running amuck. I think I'd die from happiness if it was about them...but then there'd be more Snape, and I just don't know if I could handle that...still not a big snape fan *sigh*)



EDIT: Apparently, JK Rowling launched this new site the other day (or today...I don't really know when it was created) It's called "Pottermore" (lol, nice take on 'nevermore' especially with the owl standing guard.)

Probably hinting its potter related.

I was actually hoping that she would write something in a different world.

rumours I've read have said it's not another potter book. So maybe there's hope for something new.

I would love it if it is in the potter world... which i think it maybe since "potter more " and all. But i'll be just as happy with a different world. Maybe even slighly more... i mean how amazing was HP and the wizarding world.. so magical and awesome . I remember my imagination going on overdrive with being introduced to the world... it'll be awesome to be introduced to a new world, equally as amazing.

If its to discuss the life of Auror-hood, here is hoping there's going to be enough of Harry and Kingsley on it, with the former just taking 'training from hell' while the latter is negotiating with the other ministers of magic from across the globe, while if its between the war's end and the epilogue, the both of them would do what they must to repair the mostly-mutilated reputation of the british Ministry in general.

Also, it would be nice to see Aurors with goblin-forged weaponry mobilizing for assignments.

Also, here's hoping there could be a prequel of the 4 founders of Hogwarts, with more info on Helga Hufflepuff and Godric in particular.

Tell me that levels of power will rise so the Potter-world gets stomped less frequently, if any of those options happen.

So i went to the youttube page to check the countdown...have ya'll looked at it lately? So many more owls! lol. I got so excited.

Oh wow. That's a lot of owls.

Only 2 days to go... but the more I think about it the harder it'll be for me to sit tight.

yeah, I went to have a look at it today...I love that when you run your mouse over the owls they shake...you can even make some of the random leaves fall off the tree too. I was having way to much fun with the countdown page

Lol Kim i did the same thing, the very first day when Ash posted the link. When i seen all the new owls i closed the page real fast could i knew i would sit there and make them all shake...hehehe lol

yeah, I counted 25 too. I tried staring at it for a while to see if a new owl would pop up, but that was a bit boring, so I gave up.

I counted 33 and I can't believe that the announcement is today or tomorrow!!!!

I just realised what time the countdown ends at for me...9pm. I'll probably be in bed by then *sigh*

ugh it ends for me at like 7am, i usually wake up 8am or so.

It's pretty inconvenient, isn't it Tasha JK Rowling really should have thought of us first.
If I have gone to bed before 9 tonight, I prob won't find out what the announcement is until tomorrow afternoon. I have to leave for class at 8am, and I won't bother to turn my computer on before then.

Just saw the announcement, i'm a tad bit disappointed I must say.

Tasha: yeah, I was a little disappointed too. I know it's pretty epic bring HP to the digital world, but not so epic that it needed a super special website/countdown/announcement. Hell, the digital stuff isn't even available yet. We pretty much got a countdown to nothing.
