Richelle Mead Announces Pregnancy

Richelle just announced on her blog today that she's PREGNANT!!

She says the baby is due around the same time as Bloodlines (end of August).

I saw something on fb about a baby so I went straight to her blog. I'm SO excited for her. I actually teared up lol I'm sad that she won't be touring. I was counting on her coming to Fl, but with that news how could anyone be upset? I'm way happier for her instead. I know what its like to welcome a baby into the world and it's way more precious than anything else. So BIG congrats to my fav author (even though she'll never read this). Sending lots of love and support her way.

I couldn't help but smile when i found this thread. I was just on facebook and read about it there and then went to her blog and read about it further. Then i said to myself I wonder if SB knows. And you guys are good. Already an established thread talkin about it lol.

Many congrats to RM. So excited to her. And also ironic considering yesterday in a thread around here there was a discussion about kids going on. Lol.

haha yeah that is ironic Tasha. I was one of those talking about kids with no clue that mis RM was secretly pregnant.

I wonder if he/she is going to be a redhead like mommy?

ooOoo I haven't thought about that. If she has a girl I really hope so. My best friend is a redhead but only her third came out with red hair.-her son. I can't wait for her to have the baby and hear all about him/her. She's going to have a gorgeous little one.

I wish richell the best with her little boy! That would be so cute if he had read hair like his beautiful mommy. I don't know what daddy looks like but I'm sure the baby will be beautiful. and what a coincidence that the baby Is due about the same time bloodlines comes out...

Haha yeah definitely. I also love how his birth was timed so perfectly with the release of Bloodlines and the deadline for the rough draft of The Golden Lily.

awe, I just saw the congratulations to Richelle on the Bloodlines fb page. I can't wait to find out what she named him and if he had her red hair

Lol, it's too early to tell with the hair colour. Kids' hair colours change so often. I was blonde as a baby and I'm brunette now. But I hope her son gets a slight red to his hair, that'd be pretty cool.

His hair looks brown to me, but that doens't mean it won't change, then again it may not. one of my best friends has red hair and none of her kids inherited it until her 3rd-the only boy.

I wish Richelle would tell us his name, but i understand and respect their privacy.

He is just too darn cute. Kinda makes me want another baby. But shhh don't tell the hubby that Although he did freak me out a little last night when he asked our 3 yr old son if he wanted a little brother. I gave him one of those "are you out of your damn mind" looks
