yeah it's ridiculous. First days of school always had a lot of glares and eye rolling cause of them saying Wild-a. I hated it. I used to get teased and had the worst nicknames over it too. but now I'm over it and actually love my name.

I have had my share of name butchering .. not with my first name, Samantha, but with my last. Schoenfeld... I have heard every combination on my last name -__-

Thanks Sam People get my married name wrong all the time too. They even had my daughter saying it wrong last year in Kindergarten.

Aine, I doubt I will get the spelling right for the pronunciation, and I probably have it wrong, but my guess is something along Aun-yeh?
