| You can hear the excerpt/sample on audible.com
I've only heared excerpts of like 3 other books never the whole thing, so I wouldn't know if it's good or not.

| The audio books for Twilight were odd too. But I found I noticed things I skipped over reading. My library doesn't carry the audiobooks for VA so I might invest in the first one and see. I'll try audible.com first. | |

| I hate the girl who reads the 1st one . It's horrible . The 3rd they skip like....maybe two pages . From where Rose goes to help the priest to where she goes back to guard Christian . | |

| I've read and listened to the audible.com versions and Unless your like working out or something while listening which is why I do it then I don't recommend the VA series. The narrators suck. Book wasn't bad. Book two the narrator can't even say mia's name right sometimes it's maya others it's mia. The third the narrator makes a bunch of mistakes as well like skipping parts mis pronouncing, and changing the wording. Like at the end of Sk the narrator says alberta's part, "We need to leave before the sun rises" It's supposed to be "Before the sun sets" So just stuff like that which annoys the crap out of me.
If you already read the books then you know what is supposed to be said and could probably over look the annoying accents and stuff. Personally reading the books for this series is better. I do both with my favorites. The Cassandra Clare series is a really good audio.

| yeah they were bad, plus I hate when a series gets new voices for each book it's annoying. Id rather if they picked one voice/person preferably a good one and stick with it. I hat people who try to do accents when they suck at it. | |

Then i should be more grateful for the voices on the P.J.O audiobooks, since the guy voicing Perseus...his voice reminded me very much of Justin Cook's[who voices Yusuke Urameshi of the Yu-Yu Hakusho series, who doesn't have a mortal father!]and the guy who voiced Ron Stoppable[from the Kim Possible T.V show!] at the same time, yet had it's own unique qualities, in its own right!

| I actually liked the first girl reading more than the second only because she gave accents to people that had them like Dimitri haha and the other didn't though I didn't like the voice she used for Lissa -_- | |

Don't tell me that instead of sounding like an Angel's voice...that it sounded Ghastly on Lissa!

I completely agree with you on that, I hated the way she portrayed lissa too. You mean...Lissa was portrayed as a bad person? Why didn't they just get the Funimation cast for Full Metal Panic! to do the voices?I always imagined Angel Princess Lissa having Kaname Chidori's voice[Luci Christian!]and Chidori is a Tsundere, too!

I'm not one to brag, but...i suspect they must be remotely better than the V.A Audiobooks, the more i think about it, Jill.

Ouch...i must try not to read the P.J.O novels too much, unless it's the possible Exception that the Demigod Files is, or else i might get hours of energy yet risk a Crash, outright, after reading the novels...like the kind that most Energy Drinks would give you?
