Innocent plot hole, or intended?

Okay this one thing has bothered me since last year when I read Blood Promise. Dimitri claims he left for Siberia to get away from Rose, and sought out Galina because he knew her before she had turned. Implying it was HIS decision to go to Galina. So why is Nathan hanging around? He's not even Russian, he went to st. vlad's, so probably didn't even know Galina. And Nathan also implies to Rose that he was there before Dimitri was. when he was trying to kil her an get info on lissa, he said killing rose would destroy Dimitri and show Galina how unhinged he was, allowing NATHAN to return to his ORIGINAL place by her side. So wtf? Ridiculous plot hole, or something else?

I don't think that's a pot hole. I believe Nathan is Lissa's half-sibling so I think we'll learn how he came to know Galina in LS.

Haven't thought about it, but it might be just a coincidence. That Nathan's in Russia.

And it might not be even a hole... I guess we'll see in LS...

Nathan turned Dimitri strigoi... No plot hole He probably dragged Nathan off to Siberia, and Galina first found Nathan to be more powerful than Dimitri because he had just awakened.
