Nightshade by Andrea Cremer

This is a new book coming out October 19, 2010. The book looks good. Basically the typical storyline (forbidden love). Is anyone else looking forward to this book?

lol I asked her the same thing since it doesn't come out until October (and this was a few months ago that she'd read it). She said that the publishers in her country wanted some people to read the book to see whether it was worth translating.

Just read Nightshade. I love this world Andrea has created and the characters in it. It takes all the mythocal creatures to a whole new level. I can't wait for Wolfsbane next summer.

I'm pretty sure it's about werewolves. I haven't read it yet, so beyond that I don't really know.

Yes the cover for Wolfsbane is gorgeous. idk which one I like more Nightshade's or Wolfsbane's.

The series is about werewolves known as Guardians. They guard the Keepers which are witches. In this series you have Guardians, Keepers, Wraiths, Succubus, Incubus, Chimeras, The Fallen (NOT fallen Angels btw), Searchers which are also Witches I think, etc. It's different from your normal werewolf stories. At least the ones I've read, which is limited to Twilight, Shiver/Linger, Alpha and Omega series, Darkest Power series, The Hollows series...I think that's about it.

Here is the sypnosis:

Calla Tor has always known her destiny: After graduating from the Mountain School, she'll be the mate of sexy alpha wolf Ren Laroche and fight with him, side by side, ruling their pack and guarding sacred sites for the Keepers.
