Dimitri's dad

Remember in VA when Dimitri told Rose that he beat up his father for hitting his mother? And later, in SB, Dimitri knew who Abe was and warned Rose to stay away? And Rose feels that Abe has a violent streak? What is Abe is Dimitri's dad too. That's why he is pushing Rose away, because he has figured it out-they are half brother/sister and can't be together???? Just a wild thought.

That would be really disgusting.

Except that when Abe showed up in Baia in BP with Rose, Dimitri's family didn't seem like they knew Abe at all. They just knew *of* him and feared his reputation. If Abe was the one that had abused Dimitri's mother and fathered all of those Belikov kids, you think there'd have been more of a reaction when he showed up at their home. Also, is Abe royal? Because Dimitri's father is.

Janine keeps trying to convince Rose that Abe is "a good man", and Dimitri's father was in no way a good man. He beat Dimitri's mother repeatedly and then Dimitri had to step up and do something about it, saying that just because he's a royal doesn't mean he should be able to treat other people like that (especially dhampirs). Can you really see Abe doing something like that? And after everything he's done for Rose?

There is no way Abe is Dimitri's father. Dimitri probably told Rose to stay away from Abe because he knows the kind of (illegal/criminal) stuff Abe may be associated with. And btw, Abe mentioned that he didn't know the Belikovs, and that he brought Rose to them in BP because she'd said their name while unconscious.

very valid point. I had forgotten thosse points. I'm glad you remembered them and I'm even more glad that you are right. I didn't want Abe to be D.'s dad, it was just a crazy thought. I feel much better now. Thanks for your input. Can't wait for LS to come out! Good "talking" to you.

I've had a crazy idea in my head and thought that you all would like to know what my brain has come up with. Rozafan came up with Abe being D's dad and D as Rose's older half-brother, but what it Dimitri was Lissa's half brother. I know it sounds crazy but it just came to me.

Interesting thought. Lissa's dad was a royal, like D's dad. But D said that he and his three sisters all had the same dad and his dad had a violent streak-hiting his mom. Lissa's dad set up an account in Vegas. I think the mother of his illegitemate kid was a Vegas show girl/Moroi, and he went there a lot to visit them. Hmmm. Time will tell.

I guess so. Time will tell, your right. Gosh, I really can't wait for LS to come out so we can actually find out who's done what, and who's who.

I actually think it might even be Jill. Lissa's half-sibling, I mean. Jill's father is never mentioned, she has green eyes just like Lissa and her mother is a dancer - she might have been a showgirl once. Just a thought.

lol But maybe that's just what RM *wants* you to think. I think it could be Jill, but I'm thinking (maybe even hoping a little) that it might be Adrian. Wouldn't that be a nice twist? lol And ew... I keep remembering that Tatiana wanted Lissa and Adrian to get married. Maybe the reason she never brought up marriage between them in SB is because she found out the two were siblings.

And yeah, I heard theories about Adrian and I think it might be possible. It would certainly be interesting. But I don't think Tatiana knew who Lissa's sibling was - she would have mentioned it in the note for Rose. It would be creepy, though, the fact that she wanted them to get married, if it turns out they're siblings

lol My theory on Tatiana's death is that Adrian's mother killed her because she found out the truth about his birth but had written that note to Rose before... or something like that. *shrug* But I absolutely know what you mean. I didn't expect ANY of the things that happened in SB to happen (with the exception of breaking Victor out of jail and finding his brother because I think that was pretty obvious to most people).

Maybe it was Tasha - she has motives but it would still be a surprise since she always seemed so nice. And she never showed up after the murder which I find really strange. I would usually expect her to be at Rose's hearing. Her absence makes me suspicious.
True, a lot of thing in SB were totally unexpected, especially the ending. It's probably going to be the same with LS.

As you said, breaking Victor out and finding his brother was going to happen but never in a million years did I expect Tatiana to be killed or Lissa to have a half-sibling!! It was a massive shock to me and I'm sure to everyone else as well. I don't know what to think with this. D's dad, no idea if we're going to get the secret on who he is or not in LS. RM might just actually tell us in the spin-off maybe if she has an idea bout it. Lissa's half-sibling is still a mystery, there are soo many people that could be her brother/sister, we also don't know if he/she is older or younger than Lissa, so that makes us suspect more characters.

Tatiana's killer could be anyone really, from Daniella to someone much younger, like Mia (but I don't think she did it). Maybe Tasha is also the to distract us from the real killer, even though I did find it strange that she wasn't as Rose's hearing at the end *thinking face*.

Like the idea of Dimitri being Lissa`s half-brother but it doesnt seem possible given his dad is violent and that isnt the idea we get about Lissa`s dad. Abe couldnt be either because he isnt Royal and Dimitri says his dad is Royal
