Hello Everyone!!

I am new to the website and I am very excited to be talking with everyone about the VA series!! I just recently finished reading Spirit Bound and must say I am soooo eager to read what will happen next!! I dont know about any of you.. but I am soo in love with the fact of Rose and Dimitri!! I hope you guys can show me the ropes around here!!!

Dimitri is one of my favorite characters!! I love how he holds back but then realizes "Roza" is what completes him!! How far have you read into the series? Have you read all the five books yet? I love you

Same here. I just started to re-read a few of my favorite parts in Vampire Academy. I feel like I need more! December 7 is way to long to wait! But I guess re reading will just have to do Wink

When did you start getting into the series?

It's way to long to wait, it's driving me crazy. That's why I'm rereading and why I joined this forum.
I think I started reading the series a couple of weeks ago. I heard about it before but I wasn't that interested. When I finally started it, though, I couldn't put it away. It's so addictive.

Yes, same here! I had read about the series in a magazine but during that point I was a die hard Twilight fan so I wouldn't let myself fall in love with any other vampires. Then, I was in Target one day and decided to check it out! Once I started reading VA I immediately wanted to read all the books! I would hide away in my room and just read ALL day! I think I am officially converted to guardians and Moroi! lol and Rose and Dimitri are my new Bella and Edward!

Yeah, I was skeptical because of Twilight, too. But it's nothing like Twilight, it's completely different and original. And I think Richelle knows what she's doing much more than Meyer does.

Yes, I would have to agree with you 100%. When I read the back of the book and it had said "the obvious heir to the twilight throne" I thought oh this is going to be very similar. Boy did I thought wrong! It is completely the opposite direction of twilight, even the love story between Dimitri and Rose is different. Two different styles of writing, which makes it very interesting to read.
