Now I'm not so sure. I'm wondering if Penguin Australia put this one in to trick us, like with the first quote we all think is Victor. I mean, I can't think of anyone other than Dimitri who fits this new one, but I'm sort of wary of it at the moment.

1 is Victor talking to Rose and Lissa or maybe even Rose and Abe OR Rose and Adrian

2 I'm thinking it's Rose listening on Lissa or just her observing a situation with Tatiana (I hope she dies)

3 is Dimitri

I think the second one is from Rose's perspective.
Inclined to think that the first one involves Victor.
The last one I'm betting Dmitri.

I think quote two isn't about dimitri threatening her life, but someone else. Maybe he even saves her.

I don't think Richelle Mead is going to kill of dimitri in this book, if she would kill him off it would be in the last book.

I hope she doesn't kill him off though I kind of want him to be unstrogitized in this book.

At first I thought it was Lissa or Rose then I looked a little closer and then seeing that Not The Blood helped with my theory.

I've changed my mind about quote #4...or at least come up with another theory.
What if it's not someone speaking but Rose's internal commentary? What is she's talking about Lissa. If Lissa thought she was going to be alone and Rose went into her mind for the night. We know they could speak to each other through the bond at the end of Blood Promise...I know Oksana helped that along, but maybe once the ability was established it could be continued. And so Rose is able to *talk* to Lissa from far distances?

I know this is way out there but I was also thinking number 4 could be Dimitri telling Rose he was with Lissa all night O_O or some other girl Rose knows

For me it seems too obvious if it's Dimitri talking to Lissa...though that's the first thought that comes to mind. I mean, Lissa's definitely the obvious bait, who else is close enough for Rose to save? I agree Ash, Eddie or Mia might be an option, because Rose would risk herself for them too, except you could never be too certain. With Lissa you'd be 99% sure Rose would fall for the trap, even if she already knew there was a trap, it's Lissa...she's not going to let anything happen to her again, not if she can help stop it.

Someone needs to be a distraction. I personally think it's so that Rose can get in somewhere undetected. But it could also be that they need to rescue Rose and someone needs to be a distraction so that the others can save her.

I think it's one of the good guys saying it to another good guy.

Yeah, I can't think of many situations where the villains would be saying it and Rose being able to over hear it...so I guess logically the good guys would be the ones saying it...otherwise options are limited.
