Help me pick

hey ya'll I want to enter a poetry contest and i was wondering if ya'll would be interesting in helping me pick a poem. ( original poem I wrote)

Mementos
from a different time
a different
place

The adrenaline rush
of protesting
shouting
in dirty
filthy
new york city streets
no longer suffice
the void.


No matter how hard I walk
loud i scream
I cover myself in stickers and pins
hoping to cover up
the lack of feelings
for mementos
in my past

The tingle of my nerves
when i hear spoken word
dulled
to a slight
buzz
a pin prickle
of a sleeping arm
awakening.

The affect
putting pen to paper
blankness obscured with ink
little neat words
structure
strike-through
forming
sweet solace
in poetry
blurred

My fire was doused
wood wet
unable to hold sparks
The sparks
of mementos
mementos of me.

stomping out the uneven floor boards
shouting out the cracks on the walls
crying the dust away
it was OUR word
---creating
Urban.

But you took the cash
moving on up fast
turned modern and pristine
no more metal detectors
instead
overheard expensive HBO projectors
whirlwind of confusing
homie little hole in the wall
abandoned
closed forever sign on the building

Brave new voices?
nothing left

loud
long
echos
of what used to be

So I came here decked out in my protest gear
wearing Nike shoes
that were child labor induced
cost 6 cents to produce
Because of this outfit
Exploitation
Without hesitation
just so this government can make a quick profit

If anyone has time pretty please let me know what you think. The first contest I'm entering , the deadline is Wednesday. So i would have to print out my poem and forms and stuff Wednesday morning.

I voted for Momentos, but I also like Stolen and My Canvas Soliloquy.

stolen is taking the lead, followed by while i write then mementos..then my canvas with walking contradiction dead last.

Oh decisions decisions. I suck at this lol.

Put all the names in a hat and then pick one out. If you're not happy with the result then you'll know that's not the one you want to send in. Eventually you'll pick out one you really want to send in and there you have it...

...or it'll just mean adding another vote to one of the poems

I just realized because of the snow day, my college being closed... I won't be able to enter this contest. Today was the deadline. :-(
