I thought I'd start a christmas thread.

It's a few days early, I know, but I thought I'd wish you all a Merry Christmas now incase we're all too busy to do so on Christmas day.

well working is better than being on here sometimes so its just good to see your back

It's Christmas Eve now! (well here it is). It's only 7:53am, but it's still only one more sleep until Christmas.

...the sad part is though, it doesn't really feel like Christmas. Like last year (for me) it seems to have sort of crept up on us and it's going to be gone in a few blinks of the eye. I'll have to put on some christmas carols later today to see if I can change the atmosphere.

I want to put on some Aussie Christmas carols or songs about Christmas that aren't "traditional" carols. They're funner, and you're able to really get into the mode with them all

yeah you see im american and my mom always always puts on these old traditional ones but i liten to them on the computer that are by famous people who sound better. and hey stupid question but do you talk in a n Aussi accent? im just curious do you say Crikey? haha

It's not so much the famous people that are better for me, just the ones that are more jolly to sing

and yeah, I suppose I talk in an Aussie accent. But very rarely do I say "Crikey". I do say "G'day" a fair bit though

For the most part people only use "aussie" slang when we're all joking around. Calling people "Sheilas", Drongos, Galahs. (actually, I use galah a bit...but it's still as a joke)

there's a lot more, but honestly, you don't notice you're saying anything unusual until someone points it out to you, so I can't seem to think of anything else at the moment

yep me too so hey since i dont believe in santa how does he deliver presents to all the boys and girls of the world in one night if the west and east side are on two diffent time zones huh? what now convincers

He works his way across the time-zones, that way he makes it to almost everywhere at "Midnight". Timezones are obviously Santa's best friend
