R.I.P. To Brittany Murphy

"Movie star Brittany Murphy is dead of a heart attack at 32.

She went into full cardiac arrest early Sunday and could not be revived, the Website TMZ reported.

The Los Angeles City Fire Department got a call from the home of Murphy's husband Simon Monjack about 8 a.m., fire officials told TMZ.

She was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead on arrival

Murphy starred in "8 Mile," and "Don't Say a Word."

The starlet became a household name among teens in 1995 as the sidekick in "Clueless," who went from awkward wall flower to snotty hottie.

A few years ago, she released the single "Faster Kill Pussycat," which became a dance club hit.

Her last big movie was "Sin City" in 2005."

OMG I heard about it on the radio on the way home 2 hrs ago. So sad

I hate to say this, but it sounds suspiciously like drugs (prescription or otherwise) were involved. I can't think of any other reason for a 32 yr old, who appeared to be in good health has a heart attack.

yeah but its still sad...First Heath Ledger now Brittany Murphey...Whose next?

They said its unclear weather the heart attack was drug related. Either way i heart her and was sad to hear the news. she was in some on my fav movies..

it was also said she may have suffered some eating disorder? idk maybe that was the cause too
but it's so sad RIP Brittany Murphy, I really liked her movie Uptown Girls

Yes! Girl, Interrupted= one of my top favorite movies!

If she did have an eating disorder such as anorexia, then yeah, I can see how she would be susceptible to heart attacks. But my brother told me today that the police searched her house and found A LOT of prescription meds there. It's a terrible tragedy that she would OD on prescription stuff. When doctors prescribe things and if you go to multiple doctors and they don't communicate what the patients are on, there can be dangerous interactions as well as duplications of prescriptions (i.e. same drug, different name).
