| Yup it has fallen angels. And Nephilim too. Here's the synopsis: Romance was not part of Nora Grey's plan. She's never been particularly attracted to the boys at her school, no matter how hard her best friend, Vee, pushes them at her. Not until Patch comes along. With his easy smile and eyes that seem to see inside her, Patch draws Nora to him against her better judgment. But after a series of terrifying encounters, Nora's not sure whom to trust. Patch seems to be everywhere she is and seems to know more about her than her closest friends. She can't decide whether she should fall into his arms or run and hide. And when she tries to seek some answers, she finds herself near a truth that is way more unsettling than anything Patch makes her feel. For she is right in the middle of an ancient battle between the immortal and those who have fallen -- and, when it comes to choosing sides, the wrong choice will cost Nora her life. http://books.simonandschuster.com/Hush-Hush/Becca-Fitzpatrick/9781416989417I've read it. It was alright I guess, but it wasn't great or anything. It was slow and felt kind of boring a lot of the time. Mostly I read it to the end because I wanted to know wtf was going on. | |

| I just bought the book from Barnes and Noble and from the looks of it, it's like a Twilight meets kind of Harry Potter!
It sounds good though, as soon as I finish Blue Blood, I will begin to read it!

| Oh i was polishing my list of books I want to get and i stumbled across this book and it made its way to the near top. The cover just got me. I read some reviews though and some say its unoriginal. I hope not because the synopsis was interesting and i have a weakness for stories about fallen angels. I hope its good. | |

| I read it a few weeks ago, and while I wanted to find out how it ended, the ended was sort of simple and I didn't think it had much of a plot. At the same time, I did enjoy reading it. It was one of those comfort books, uncomplicated and relaxing. | |

| Would the series have a Vasilisa, which is Greek for Queen? | |

No Tony, not everything has to do with Vasilisa.

No Tony, not everything has to do with Vasilisa. Which means not everything has to do with Royalty?

| I read Hush, hush a few months ago. I like it, it's a nice read. Looking forward to the sequel this fall. Looks like there's a lot of books I like coming out this fall and winter. =) Fallen by Lauren Kate is also about fallen angels but it's quite different than Hush, hush. I enjoyed Hush, hush more. | |

I thought Crescendo was a lot better than Hush Hush. Patch is definitely awesome although the whole Marcis business pissed me off. Christy: you should give it a go. I don't think it's the best series out there at the moment, but it's pretty enjoyable. It's a fun series at least and the main guy Patch is extremely awesome.

| idk if its what you'd call exciting, but its more towards the end of the book.
Becca has released the new title for book 3
At long last! I am thrilled to finally announce the title of the third book in the Hush, Hush saga! If you follow me on Twitter, or if you're a fan of my Facebook page, you've probably noticed there has been (just a little!) drama surrounding this title recently. Ever since I decided Tempest wasn't the right title for the book, I've been on the search for a worthy replacement. I spent weeks sorting through titles and, in the end, for one reason or another, none of them felt right.
I always thought the title of the third book would be loud— something a crescendo would build up to. And it made sense; the storyline of the third book is daring and twisty and oh so romantic. Which is why I was surprised to find, in the end, the title I chose isn't flashy or loud or culminating. Instead, it's a haunting word, quietly powerful, filled with mystery and beauty. A word that means to put doubt, fear and anxiety to rest. A word that is synonymous with stillness, secrecy and all that is forgotten.
The noise between Patch and Nora is gone in this book. They've overcome the secrets riddled in Patch's dark past...bridged two irreconcilable worlds...faced heart-wrenching tests of betrayal, loyalty and trust...and all for a love that will transcend the boundary between heaven and earth. Armed with nothing but their absolute faith in one another, Patch and Nora enter a desperate fight to stop a villain who holds the power to shatter everything they've worked for—and their love—forever.
With much pleasure, I give you the title of the third book...
SILENCE
The synopsis of Silence is also posted on Goodreads - The Hush, Hush series has captivated readers with the story of Nora Grey, her friend Vee, and a mysterious fallen archangel named Patch. In the gripping conclusion of the trilogy, Nora finds that as things start to unravel around her, she is more drawn to the enigmatic Patch. She soon discovers that the answers lie closer to home than she realized, and it is time for her to take control of her destiny once and for all.

| Almost done with Cresendo. Nora is so annoying. Its like she never learns and goes looking for near death situations. One day shes dying to see Patch the next she's into Scott.

| I have Crescendo but I think I'm going to donate or sell it or something because I have zero interest in reading it. This series is trying too hard to be something it isn't. Which by that I mean good. lol No offense to anyone who likes it. I'm just sick to death of love triangles and YA series that are very obviously riding on the success of other subjectively "popular" YA books. | |
